wait also, can we get a video on how you clean your house on a regular weekly basis? aka when the goal isn’t to deep clean… that’s the part I struggle with somehow
You can start by doing little tasks and organising your tasks in a planner. Like everyday tasks, twice a week twice etc. Don’t charge your planning too much or you’ll be more likely to procrastinate. The most important of all : HAVE FUN. I know tasks and fun don’t go together but switching your mindset is definitely the key to be more consistent :)
I am just a daughter, and watching these kind of videos make me pay more attention in my house and what more can be cleaned and what products to use, it makes me feel satisfacted to have more knowledge and a cleaner house to me and my parents. Thank you for those videos.
When soaking fixtures in vinegar (like faucets), only soak for long periods if the finish can handle it! Stainless steel can, but chrome finishes cannot! The acidity will ruin the finish if left to soak. Just bear this in mind and make sure to Google if the finish on your nozzles can handle vinegar soaks!
Your cat!!!!! Those crazy cat eyes 😂❤ So cute. You did an amazing job. My worst part of cleaning is cleaning the kitchen cupboards inside (and even worse on top). I really like how you break down every cleaning tool and product and how your video is so real. What you have shown is basically your average home. Thank you, this was great.
I'm the only cleaner in my messy household so watching these videos helps me deal with the stress of constantly up-keeping a filthy house. Great tips too!
This was so satisfying and motivating - thank you! One of the best deep clean videos I’ve seen. I especially love how you keep it real and show your actual dirt and mess - love it! 👏🏼
I love these ~deep~ cleaning videos! Tip if you have a lot of buildup on floors like bathroom or kitchen- get a bucket with hot hot water and a little cleaner, grab your rubber gloves and wipe the floor with a microfiber cloth, rinsing it often in the bucket. Change the bucket water as needed when doing a large area! Wiping back closet doors is genius! If you have a cat- best not to diffuse essential oils as it can make the cat ill if inhaled too much. Also essential oils cause a ton of VOCs when diffused anyways.
I don't watch clean with me videos often- however this one caught my attention, very inspiring and entertaining :) I like how you discuss everything your doing over a voice over, a lot of cleaning videos ive seen stay silent the entire time with background music, or they talk in between getting tasks done- I appreciate how you go through each task AS it's being done
YAAAAAAYYYY I love these!!!! Your cleaning videos are the best. I'm so glad you uploaded another "cleaning in a week video" as I've rewatched the last one countless times as cleaning motivation.
this is such a well done video, i love all the different shots, bits of advice and the narration itself. your house is beautiful and your attention to detail is refreshing!! lloved it
I hate to be this person but just so you know, tea-tree oil is SUPER toxic for cats, even if diffused via aromatherapy. oils that are safe for cats are: rosemary, copaiba, helichrysum, oregano, frankincense and cedarwood. While not toxic or dangerous, cats don't necessary enjoy chamomile, lavender, thyme or valerian, but they're still safe to use.
I just wanted to say that i really appericiate your videos. I grew up in a messy home and never learnt how to clean and maintain everything properly. I didnt even realize how having a clean and organized home can affect mental health. I hope you keep posting and teach us how to be better adults🤍
Super satisfying! In the future though, please don’t use any tea tree oil in your diffuser, it’s highly toxic to cats and even having it diffused can cause respiratory irritation ❤ gotta keep that gorgeous kitty safe and healthy! 😊
Anything that air-borne is toxic to cats (essential oils, cigarettes, candles, incense ...). They have a really sensitive respiratory system, so anything that produces smoke/mist is a no no !
@Christine plus none of then really smell good. I don't understand why people use those. I use air wicks and candles but not everyday. But before I start to clean or cook stinky foods
@@xee.11 how strange. Because something doesnt smell good for you specifically, your brain cannot imagine or simply understand that it could be different for others. Some human beings are really interesting.
quick tip for fellow lazy/ill people..... if you've been putting off cleaning kitchen cabinets to avoid the scrubbing and time commitment, you can use a swiffer and your preferred cleaning spray. seems silly, but gets the job done a lot quicker and easier.
Hi!! You’re videos are just amazing and so calming for someone who’s obsessed with maintaining my space clean. A video on how to keep your house cat hair “free” haha would be just amazing! ❤
10:30 for the bathroom floor in the future you could make a bucket of cleaning water and a handcloth to wipe the floor. you can save some money with this❤️
not me listening to this on loop in the background, for like idk three hours now and lemme just say my mom says thank you because i threw out so much trash (im a horder and i have more paper notes and trash in my room than oxygen particles) then i have ever thrown out in my entire life, i literally found old papers from two years music class ago, thank you!!
Dear kristy, love your content..it really motivates me to clean🤍 here’s a small tip : Spray clean first and then use the magic eraser to spot clean(imo)
Thank you for your videos. I just moved back to my parents' home. My sibling lives with them but for the past 3 years nobody has done any deep cleaning (I don't blame my parents, they are old - dad is 80!) and the amount of gunk and debris I'm removing is nuts. In my own place I light cleaned regularly and deep cleaned monthly. Sibling has effectively checked out of all responsibilities so it's just me, disabled (I moved back with parents for respite, hah!), cleaning everything. Seeing you do this mostly single handedly gives me a bit of hope. I might send your video to my parents because they've been extremely offended at the concept of deep cleaning (they think it's a criticism of their surface cleaning).
I have a really stubborn hard water in my shower. It’s really hard to remove.. i believer they are limescale.. it’s a pain to clean it because I neglected it. You just gave me an idea how to clean the towel seat.. thank you. 😊
I recently got your entire kynd kare kit so this is inspiring to start cleaning my home! I really enjoy your cleaning and home care content. :) Could I ask what kind of cleaning spray you use to clean spots? Is it a natural/non-toxic solution? Ty for sharing these tips and tricks!!
i grew up shifting from place to place and the places i lived were quite run down and dingy. im heading off to dorm soon and honestly i never really had the knack for cleaning things as it was never taught to me. i'm scared i'll be a burden on my roommate if i don't learn fast. could you go over the things to clean regularly and things to keep in mind?
For the microwave - you can also use a couple tablespoons of white vinegar in the water, run the microwave for five minutes then let sit for about five minutes and wipe away! Works great 😊
Omg I'm glad I'm not the only one that cleans the toilet by dusting it first with tp . My sister thinks I'm weird for this Oh but tip! Just buy a bottle of dawn dish soap to clean the bathroom
I have to laugh at the lightbulbs because I have a huge chandelier that takes me 2 hours to clean. (16 small bulbs!!!) Whenever I clean the bulbs and we use it, someone always asks if I changed out the bulbs! Nope, just cleaned, LOL.
Hi, thank you for this helpful cleaning tutorial. I was just wondering what is that little box you put on the tray behind the toilet. Is it something useful for the bathroom? Thanks again for sharing so many helpful tips!
I'm a new subscriber to your channel (just now) and I know I am going to get a lot of education on cleaning, which I need. Thanks so much for the great ideas and advice. I like seeing your kitty too; he or she is very pretty!
One thing I did notice is the amount of dust in your house. I know this can just be because you live in a city or a dusty part of the world but you should consider getting a air filter system in your house to just help cut back on the dust. But great video and really like your channel!
That was so satisfying and motivating! I love your couch! 😍I do not know if someone already commented this, but tea tree oil is very toxic for cats and dogs. I saw you mixing it with water, so I guess it is not as toxic. Many cat owners I know do not know this, so I just wanted to let you know, because I do not know wich dosage you used.
Do you know that you can put back in place the curtains for drying. And you will even see that wet curtains hanging are doing natural climatisation. In spain it's an old way for keeping fresh houses during summer : making dry wet sheets or curtains at the open window. Can keep your house 10°C under the outside temperature. And it's free charge.
When I clean the microwave I soak a sponge and slightly wring it out then I put it in the microwave for 1 minute. It steams the microwave as well as disinfects the sponge. The sponge will be hot, so let it sit in the closed microwave for a couple of minutes, then wipe it down.
Girl thanks for the reminder 😂 I have never lived in a place with a sliding door and I have 2 of them in this rented home. The tracks on them are FILTHY 🤣
I'd recommend to take out the baskets of the dishwasher and and clean the rails of the baskets. They really get quite dirty over time and the dishwash-cleaner tab alone won't do that.
wait also, can we get a video on how you clean your house on a regular weekly basis? aka when the goal isn’t to deep clean… that’s the part I struggle with somehow
@@Toi-let yes I have!
Just do it. Vacuum. Dust. Do dishes, the laundry. Pick up after yourself. You don't need a video. Just do it.
I second this!

Literally same and I'M ONLY 13!
I am 9
Little tip for the curtains: I hang them up when they‘re still a little moist so they don‘t wrinkle 🌸
I am also hanging them completly wet at summer and they dry perfectly ironed
I just want to say that watching your videos is like watching a great movie that pleases my aesthetic. It's mesmerizing.

I like to soak fixtures in a mixture of 50/50 hot water and vinegar to speed up the process for scrubbing.
I learned this the hard way with a bathtub and the pop up/down drain
Is there an alternative to vinegar? I always see cleaning videos use it but I just can’t stand the smell
I learned this the hard way when cleaning a nickel plated faucet. You definitely gotta be careful!
@@milkpuffs465 Same here, I had a revelation when I tried to use some citric acid that was supposed to be used on hair: it is perfect!
