That child was coached. A 6 year old child wouldn’t know if a car was speeding or not, and the last thing a 6 year old is going to think that his father thought the plaintiff was going to hurt his family

He was definitely speeding. People don't get so upset over a car just driving by. However, punching the guy isn't going to stop him from driving like an idiot. "Why would he back up?". He backed up because he was irritated that the parents yelled at him. If the Defendant hadn't had a prior assault charge, the Plaintiff probably would have gotten $500 pain and suffering, instead of the 1k.

People can die from just 1 punch to the Head. If he was speeding than that’s understandable, but there was no basis here that justifies him punching the Guy. There was no proof of the Plaintiffs wrong-doing and The Parents could’ve either let it slide or called the Police but they DIDN’T, even though the Mother never actually did anything. Might be a bit of an overreaction but the Kid needed to be taken from them since the Father didn’t even give the Plaintiff a chance to get out of the Car before getting violent. If he’s alive and good now, then that Boy is lucky because even Judy should’ve called Social Services and one look at this Video and that will be all they need. I’m just confused on why that didn’t even cross her mind in the Video given that she was a Judge and used to work for a Family Court. Now that I actually think about it, they told the Kid to lie, and also wouldn’t it make more sense to pull your kid rather than push them? The kid was parroting the parents. And not very well. The mother said she PUSHED her kid out of the way, the kid said he was in the road goin got his dad, and he ran across to his dad. SO who's lying the mother of the kid? I am surprised Judy did not point that out. The plaintiff is more is more believable, than the BS the parents are spouting. And the look on the defendant when Judy started asking about his history, looked like he was about to run up and punch her.

JJ should have split the bill in two based on the child's testimony.. Plaintiff shoud be paying for 50 % of his injuries.

Plaintiff is so full of shit. Young adult in a CRX? It's mixture for disasters (speed). He knows it and his girlfriend defending it is idiotic. They'll see in the future how it is when you have kids to defend. Oh, we're in the future already. Is he still alive?

The plaintiff should have only got his bills covered. I thought if you came to court you have clean hands - speeding is breaking the law.
