Very very informative video on using the automatic version on this car. Driving schools wont teach you this if you are practising on a manual car and mostly they all have manual cars for leaching. Also thanks again for keeping the information to the point.

It's important to engage the handbrake(or Electric Parking Brake if available) after putting in Neutral, before putting it in Parking Mode.
This will save stress on fragile pin-mechanism of the car, which holds the car stationary in Parking mode, as the load is transferred to the parking brake first

What are your thoughts on replacing wiper blades? As both Kushaq and Taigun has cheap framed wipers and upgrading to Aerotwin will give better performance.
Yes. The wipers are not that much good. Some have replaced the wipers (even the one used in Brezza). You can replace it, just try to get it done from SC to avoid any warranty issues. Although there shouldn’t be any warranty issues but SC guys warn for it in every little modifications
Neutral is only for towing purposes in Fully Automatic cars.

@@polovw89 You can do either. People generally think it's a compulsion to shift to N in traffic signal, else it will affect gearbox because of wear and tear of clutches, which is not true. You can shift to N and engage handbrake or keep pressed the brake pedal.
Very informative and nicely explained. One query. While changing gears in manual mode should we take the foot off the accelerator pedal and change? Or can we change while keeping the accelerator pedal pressed?

Do you need to take your feet off the accelerator while using Paddle shifter/ Manual mode gear change ? We do this in Manual Transmission cars.
when you upshift, you dont have to take your foot off the accelerator, but when you have to downshift, you have to take your foot off the accelerator and then downshift

In virtus dsg, when using manual mode, should i leave accelerator when shifting to higher gear
no, when you want to upshift, you can have throttle on and shift using paddle shifter, but when you want to downshift, you need to leave the throttle and then downshift

Yes we can switch between S, D and M mode anytime both in moving and parking condition

Hi.. In my 1.5gt automatic Taigun, from gear stick I am able to change only upto second gear. What can be the reason plz?
I think your speed is too low. Try going to higher speed and change to third gear
You can downshift anytime using manual mode, but for upshift your car should maintain specific speed to avoid knocking

For better mileage what should be the driving mode. I brought 1.0 TSI AT
Sometimes Manual Mode and bumper to bumper traffic Sports mode gives more mileage as per some owners observation. But I suggest no point of driving in M mode because of better mileage

For 1.0 AT, it’s ok to drive in manual mode in bumper to bumper traffic. Cars with DSG gearbox need that. In highway if you are driving normally then D mode is fine. For enthusiastic drive or frequent overtake S mode helps better

In short, in bumper to bumper traffic you can just shift the gear lever to manual mode so that it won’t keep shifting between D1 and D2 frequently. Alternatively you can use S mode so that D2 won’t be shifted so quickly.
Exact same thing applicable for down hill, most preferably manual mode, so that engine braking will work while downhill. In uphill case, S mode will work perfectly.
