Thank you for being so thorough and QUICK!!!! I hate slogging through videos where folks take 30 minutes to describe a single effect or element. Ain't nobody got time for that!
Fantastic, this has good tempo and depth to it! Very clear, nobody gets bored, and already full of little nuances that makes it way better than basic. In 10 minutes! That was my first intro to graphics animation with no experience whatsoever in After Effects and I am already up and going on more than basics thanks to you in 10 minutes! Awesome.
Here's a quick tip for getting your anchor point in the middle of any object (Mac keys): Command-Option Home. This immediately puts the anchor point in the middle. Boom.
Your videos never disappoint! The detailed tutorials, clear comparisons, and brilliant showcases of sound design and storytelling are incredibly helpful. Thanks for the insightful and well-explained content.
Thanks for this. I always avoided learning After Effects because I thought it would be complicated or I'd need a super computer to render the animations but this tutorial really helped.
it was made by programmers and programmers really like their numbers and formulas and start/end/begin/ command lines..after using adobe after effects, photoshop becomes so easy it feels retarded.
this was extremely fast, easy, and effective. thank you so much. I watch YT vids for my school projects instead of the teacher vids because theyre so long and all the useful info can be fit in a short video like this.
i have always wanted to be at least OK with after effect. I have used Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign almost everyday for years and I am always amazed with people who can use after effect proficiently
I love the video. For some reason, my text is showing up blurry. I have re-arranged the screen size, adjusted the stroke and fill of text. I will have to refer back to this video later, and try again. Thanks!
I find After Effects really non-intuitive but this pacy guide taught me a lot in a short amount of time, and I got a usable logo in under 30 minutes. Thanks!
Back around 2009 I came across your channel for some CS4 videos! I've been dying to find your channel again! So excited to see your new videos! You are a such a great teacher!
Thanks! I'm totally new to this and I'm learning a lot. I'm using an older version: Adobe After Effects 7.0. If anyone knows where I can turn to learn how to Export the finished product so I can share it on forums I'd appreciate it. I hope there's a way to keep file size down. Perhaps that involves keeping document sizes down and other techniques.
I think I can help you, you need to download the modern version of AE, that works pretty simple since it has been updated. you need to add your project to the render queue before exporting it. This can be obtained in the composition tab on the header bar, then that is when you can render it. Hope you can manage, check me out for more info. Thanks.
Hi Dan, i would like to ask which mac are you using for motion graphics? I would like to start learning can you suggest any good mac or pc models? Thanks!
Hailing from the days of Macromedia Flash and Director, your tutorial has provided that intro I needed to understand the AE dashboard, so thank you. The UX of AE is a bit nerve wracking.
Awesome! Thanks for your help! AE isn't as intimidating like it was an hour ago. I never realized how much you can manipulate and it's neat that each setting has it's own lane for key frames. It all makes sense now.
I saw a number of AE tuts before this one and they all made me feel less confident to try making my own animations. However, this one has just made everything simple for me. now I'm ready to make some incredible animations. I wanna hit Subscribe as soon as I finish writing this comment! THANK YOU! 🙌✔😎
Hey, if I have a photoshop layer and I want to animate it how you animated the circle, so for it to gradually appear, how do I do that? The add button doesn't seem to appear. Thanks all!
6 years old video, still helps me. Your content is more understandable than other channels. Miss you tutvid💔
Thank you for being so thorough and QUICK!!!! I hate slogging through videos where folks take 30 minutes to describe a single effect or element. Ain't nobody got time for that!
Great job keeping the "radio voice" alive in a post-radio, post-dial tuning era.
Awesome.
It's not clear 😂, everybody gets bored 😂 tempo is too fast 😂..

TNice tutorials is actually a very good and straight forward tutorial. No having ask questions or guess, no over-explaining elents, and brings

Adobe After Effects 7.0? That was released in 2006!
Do you not know how to update, or are you purposely keeping it there?
You need to add it to Adobe Media Encoder render queue

When I did it just now, only the circle animations/radio waves and the "in After Effects" animations worked. Have they tweaked things since 2018?
