Small comment regarding the yellow roads (Bundesstraßen): They do not repeat like in France or Italy but they can be very long. The B2 for example stretches from the Austrian border all the way to the Polish border
19:33 The shield says: "Here were Germany and Europe seperated until 22th Dez 1989" . After the secound world war eastern europe was controlled by the russians and seperated from the rest. No one was allowed to pass the border(The big line on the map)
22:30 An important hint are the trees along the road. In Western Germany, most of the trees along the roads were cut down in the 1970ies in an attempt to improve road security. East Germany retained its trees. Whenever you see a road with trees older than 50 years, you can be pretty sure you are in East Germany.
12:45 The crops were oat, not wheat, which you can tell from their spikes. Not a dense one like wheat, but each corn sits on its own shaft, typical for oat. Oat gets grown mainly in the Northeast of Germany, so I was immediately thinking: Somewhere around Berlin.
funny thing i listened to the Möbelkraft radio adverticement so offten i suspectet it to be that one particular one between leipzig and halle before i even noticed the yellow street signs wooden fenced balcony and hilly bavaria or south west saxony or south east thuringia XD
5:45 I'm just proud of myself for actually guessing (and it was a guess) the correct town here (it's the only one in the region I know and have been to) :D
As a german living in the far north not far from denmark, most of the places you had could've been here as well and I couldn't remotely tell where they actually are. The only clues are names of places sometimes or if it gets more hilly in general then i would guess more and more south, but in general you did better than I would

In Germany, there are way more windmills in the north than in the south.
Such a great update. Germany, one of the most significant countries in the world has finally uncovered what the whole country actually looks like.
Such a relaxed commentary, very enjoyable to watch. Also pretty good guesses :) Greetings from Germany!
