It looks fun! I will definitely try it. One tip on the province characters: They aren't the first character of the province name. So if you don't know what province it is you can write that character down using Chinese input and search it online. It's pretty straight forward.

16:05 - while it is true that there are muslim Hui people in that region, I believe they speak a variation of Mandarin Chinese and don't actually use Arabic script. It says on Wikipedia that Yinchuan (that city) is the permanent site for the China-Arab Expo, so I think it was actually Arabic language that you saw on that sign. If I'm correct then that was a huge troll from the game! Anyways, I randomly stumbled upon your video in my feed, thanks for sharing this website and well played!

Thanks for the video, I did not know China straight up had its own GeoGuessr, not just its own maps! By the way, 'x' in typically transliterated Chinese makes the [ɕ] sound, or the same sound as щ in Russian and ś in Polish. The second 'u' in 'tuxun' is [y], or the same sound as the French u and German ü.

China has so many incredible metas to it that I hope one day could be of use in GeoGuessr, as unrealistic as it sounds

Add-on to the implications: The US military has one of their most important bases on the island Diegos Garcia in this Chagos Archapellago. It is important because it is close to many trade routes of China and the Middle east while simultaneously out of range for Chinese missiles. The US has a lot or aircrafts stationed there capable of transporting nuclear missiles. Because of its important strategic, yet safe location and how restrictive the US is about entering Diego Garcia, it is likely there are nuclear warheads stored there. When it became apparent that the UK will have to return Chagos to Mauritius, Mauritius even offered the US to extend their lease of Diego Garcia for 99 years. The issue is that Mauritius signed and ratified the Treaty of Pelindaba which states the entire African continent should stay free of nuclear weapons, which includes Chagos now that it is part of Mauritius again. In response to the offer, the US said they would agree if they are guaranteed to use the military base "unhindered", which is basically them confirming there are indeed nuclear weapons without explicitly stating it. Additionally, it was ruled that expelling the Chagos population in the 60s was illegal and the former inhabitants should be returned (if they wish to). I imagine this doe also not sound well to the US who currently do not even allow spouses or kids of their personnel to enter Diego Garcia. So the important aftermath questions of this decision by the UK are whether (1) the US somehow negotiates keeping their nuclear weapons on the island, and if they do not, whether they still do so secretively, and (2) whether people are allowed to return
