- The ominous roar of an intensely strong tornado creeping up upon you is some of the scariest stuff I’ve ever experienced in this game.
Throughout the rolling hills and prairies of the fictional state of Keysota, scientists and thrill seekers alike set out on the roads in chase of severe weather. Some will observe from a safe distance, while others will risk it all to get the perfect shot of a violent tornado from close range. Whether you're out there deploying data-collecting probes, intercepting in an armored vehicle, or just taking pictures, you're bound to have a run in with mother nature like no other.
Just watch yourself, sometimes the hunters become the hunted.
0:36 Y know. If this was real life, you would be dead under those roads. It's because the wind goes under it and doesent have to much space to move in, so it goes in one direction at extremely high speeds.

yea it would be a hundred miles an hour faster depending on the strength of the tornado or winds
it could actually help his threshold irl. the wind would have no upward pull, and the nose of his tiv was pointed into wind.

Fun Fact: Most TIV 2 models lift at 195 MPH for some ungodly reason, meaning that D3 is the strongest interceptor in the game.
Doesn't the stats say they are supposed to lift at like 250-255?

according to most people: on any vehicle that can deploy, if the body is damaged it affects deployment threshhold

I experienced my first EF5 a few days ago with my probes getting 333 kmh. That's the only way I know it was because it barely hit anything. Sucks that I don't have an interceptor yet.

I've only seen 1 mile wide Tornado before
it haunts me
My first intercept was a ef 5 in tiv 1 and it was by accident it decided to change direction to right on top of me
The second time i've seen a flat pancake tornado
I missed an ef5 twice bc I overestimated my speed and thought I’m gonna make it and we’ll ye I just got sucked in
i have intercepted like 10 ef5s and not survived a single one
EF5’s are literal demons, endless destruction for probably minutes or hours on end
At 3:41 you can see the TIV 1 that was on top of the bridge get lifted and slide aways a bit 🤣🤣

Yeah that was bullsh*t with how you died. I hate how Twisted does it: losing health while we're airborne is one thing, but losing it while we're still planted on the ground is ridiculous. If it were me programming the game, I would've made it so that it's fall damage that kills you, if your car goes airborne then crashes back to Earth obviously. Not only is it more realistic, but it's also fairer in situations like these.
and thats the problem roblox would make fall damage like that hard to code and very buggy. Also losing health while airborne makes since due to debris
@@Spooky-wl7ig there is not always debris that is heavy enough to destroy intercept vehicles
Also, coding fall damage isnt that hard
You guys forgot that humans react horribly to G-forces, so when an airbone interceptor is tossed in an EF5 tornado, you may experience 10+ G's and get life-threatening whiplash in the process.

there is NO WAY the winds exceded over 230mph when that pulled your TIV, it happend to me aswell that may TIV would slide or even lift at 190-200mph. Report that bug please! (i dont know how to report bugs sooo)

slow moving nado+strong wind speeds and he probs has 2x money
deploying under an underpass was the smartest stupidest thing you've done. wind speeds under underpasses increase because air pressure going under it because the bridge is an obstacle air needs to get around it. but the bridge did save you from going furth into the tornado that would be a life sentence because it be nearly impossible to get out of that strong tornado and you hope to get flung out so you could reset the death counter for being "airborne" by get stuck on something, you hope for that the tornado would pass before dying because your "airborne". the tornado was too big and slow, when you got stuck on the stump, you were technically "airborne" the entire time, and the clock was ticking, and you died. I would not want to know what those west side winds are since the east was enough to kill you, winds are strongest where the tornado direction and tornados centrifugal winds go the same direction. saddest part is that the probes died before the tornado passed and the winds were over 200mph.
tldr : dont go under a underpass or else wind strong and you die
