This is commendable but there is always a big challenge in integrating users into this process. In my experience, the agencies in African countries do the right research, but sharing the technology is a big problem. I once referred my friend who was in dire need of a technology (for Garri) available in FIIRO. She contacted them only to be frustrated by some unscrupulous and double dealing staffers. Their lack of professionalism, dishonesty and outright gang star tactics was something to be ashamed of. The technology was available, the buyer was ready to invest and there was a potential to employ at least 15 workers through this project, only to be frustrated by evil minded gatekeepers in the organization. I strongly encourage agencies like IITA to create simple and effective channels for inquiries and business development in order to engage the public and potential investors, especially those in the diaspora. Why look to China when we can get it in Nigeria. Don't stop at research, share the technology and weed out all the unprofessional staffers who act like leech on the system.

So the farmer must always buy seedling from you? Can you meet the demand from all the farmers across Nigeria?

It is GM yam, not natural yam, because Bill gates is a eugenicist. He wants only the white race on the planet, all other races must be exterminated.

Just stick with how our grandparents used to save the seeds for the next season’s crop. She even mentions it on the video and down plays it as not effective. My sister, they survived all those years doing this without any side effects to their lifestyle. How certain are you that this ‘new’ method won’t have any repercussions to their health.
