This is what's wrong with black people, and why Kevin's message was so useless.
It was based on "convincing" and "teaching" black women to act right, which is only the job of black women, not men.
A black man rules with strength. A black man should never even talk to a western woman, until he has a foothold in this country's system, which the black population is more than large enough to achieve.

we will win for sure, the only thing we need to do, is to keep the commandments of God, I left with these verses from the Bible, Isaiah 14:1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Isaiah 14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors. 2 Thessalonians 1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Christ said when he comes back he’s treading the wine press meaning there will be lots of bloodshed. Christ a black man is gangstah, Christians destroy the scriptures but when you read what God will do when he sends his son to destroy the nations and save us which is ultimately the gospel.
      Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.
We are the captives and the nations profit off our misery but Christ will come back and destroy all of them.
      Isaiah 63:3
“I have trodden the winepress alone; from the nations no one was with me. I trampled them in my anger and trod them down in my wrath; their blood spattered my garments, and I stained all my clothing.

The same goes for women!!! You'll never see an attractive "high value" man with an ugly woman!!! We men also need to start accepting accountability for certain narratives as well.... There are plenty of good women out there that get overlooked, and as Kevin said... "will die alone" because they aren't attractive enough. Oh, but as men we will sleep around irresponsibly with those types of women, and potentially create broken families just because we're horny and it was easy... and then blame them for our lack of self control!!!

This conversation had been going on since the 70's. Just because it wasn't seen on national television shows and Black R&B radio stations, does not mean it did not exist. It was unpopular, and many programs, to include PBS dared not to insult Black female viewers and donors. The difference with TH-cam, there was too much money on the line for TH-cam's executives to get involve in censorship of the material due to the possible backlash and lost ad revenue.

I appreciate how Iyanla stood up to her and condemned this woman's words for the damage that they have caused. One size does not fit all with Black women and her rhetoric is dangerous for those women who are God fearing, respectable Black queens. She didn't delineate much in her book at all and this rhetoric allows a man who is hurt from childhood or has other valid issues with women to potentially become a dominating abuser. Her message is not a complete and healing msg though some parts are applicable to some or even many women. Every tree has a root. She didn't speak to the roots, she spoke to the symptoms in a castigating way. I mean you peace, sister..no harm with my comment. This is more of a vent and redirection. But as we all know, we all have a right to choose what and who we entertain. Be well. 👁️Peace.

Kevin was very successful. His platform was not for the women. It was to make men aware of how women think, how to avoid those type of women and how to take pride in oneself by living up to our fullest potential. In that sense he was very very very successful. The Queen definitely inspired him but he inspired men like she could never do.
Kevin also influenced women who are willing to listen and hear his point of view. The problem is that most women who did catch the bull by the horns were the types of women who don’t respect nor recognize a real man or who would double down on their ignorance, and no matter how you speak to them and tell them they would not listen. Most of Kevin‘s conversation started off quite tame, but due to women, lying, redirecting, and trying to place blame on men with zero accountability Kevin often called bullshit. And rightfully so.

100% spot on. He inspired me to go to therapy which helped me get over a lot of my childhood "trauma". He inspired me to want to dress better. Most surprising of all, he inspired me to not totally give up on black women when I had all but done so in the past. Most of my life I've been called an "Uncle Tom" by black people because I hung out with white people and didn't buy into the victim mentality that most blacks have. The majority of my interactions with black women (especially my own mother and sister) have been largely negative and parasitic. The best treatment I ever got from a woman was from a white woman in medical school. She would cook for me, drive 100+ miles to see me, send me my favorite snacks, and anticipate my needs. The best treatment I ever got from a black woman was one who was considerate enough to share her leftover food with me. Seeing Kevin speak with the few black women who were receptive to what he had to say gave me a little more patience when dealing with black women. And him mentioning that most men want to see their son share their on reflection made me wonder "What if?"

Question, why can't the black man AND black woman be god??? Why does it always have to be one or the other? Why the division and separation? In religion we make the mistake and call "God" he or him. That's not right, especially when we're not calling this religious "God" she or her. We're being one sided and negating the fact that life is duality. Two genders. Two energies. If anything, this religious "God" is an "it" not just one gender or pronoun. You feel me? Let's celebrate each other and lift each other up instead of putting one ahead of the other
