In the early days of my awakening to the Knowledge of self, I attended a lecture that she gave on this topic ( Black Man's guide to Understanding the Black Woman) back in either late 1990 or 1991 at Syracuse University. Her knowledge of our (black history), wisdom and life experiences is extraordinary. She is and always will be a TREASURE. Sister Ali isn't NEW to this, she is true to this. She is an established and successful author, speaker, and much more. She has lectured and taught all over the world, and she accomplished this in person. Way before social media existed. Social media is a great invention, but Sister Ali DID IT before it was created. There are those who reject what our elders have to say, but Sister Ali is one elder who we all could learn from She is Special.
Blessings and Respect to Sister Ali.

Ms. Ali, I started listening to her after Trayvon M murder. She used to be on Dr. Drew & she nvr held back. She believed in Separatism. I didn't agree back then but now I totally understand why us blacks may need 2 be seperate from others. Like she said, we don't have or own food, religion, education, etc. 400+ yrs of us following the white man's playbook...we need our own playbook 2 go by. The only way we can do that is live amongst eachother & create our own. We are not them. The more history I learn, I am realizing who we really are.

Wow our Queen has really aged last time I seen her on Tariq’s Hidden Colors documentary! Respect to the elder sister! She rides filled the black man like no other. May God continue to give her many more moons here with us. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️

I beg the differ, Mama Shahrazad Ali. Since coming across your teachings some decades ago. I found you very tranquil, reminding me of my mother, had she been more literate. The truth, uncompromising yet love and everything righteousness upholds. Love You Always 💐🏆🫵🏿💪🏿💓🎁💫

I'm a student and advocate since I first saw her on that episode of Donahue back in the day...I was already becoming civilized and keeping the lion's share of my own profits but I was so impressed with the courage of this giant of a woman. I'm blessed to have the guidance of so many powerful freedom fighters, coming of age in the 80's and 90's.🃏²³°

5:40 - 6:13 Black Americans being American Africans is a new term for me. 14:06 - 15:12 Also Black women's true self-esteem for black male approval was another one for me. I just appreciate the full-length video of Shahrazad Ali wisdom being shared on this platform.

How about "American Moor"? Which is a continent and nation of people that is indigenous to america.

@@indigenouskings I certainly will give both a read. The Moor sounded familiar to the "American Moore" documentary by Tariq Nasheed. I haven't ordered it yet so it could be or not. If you haven't seen it you could also give it a look. But I'm grateful for the booklist on learning about ourselves.

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
