#3 - Genius! One of the scary parts of in-the-hoop projects can be taking the zipper apart and hoping I can get it back together. This “non-sewing notion” is simple, easy, and inexpensive.
I started using the Command hooks in the front doors of my sewing cabinets as I keep misplacing the smaller rulers/square ups, etc😃😃. I just bought a bunch more from Amazon! I found out that the ones with the wire hooks fit the holes in the templates but the clear ones do not!
Velcro straps last longer a lot longer than moleskin but you can't use them as a thimble. I use a water mister to spray a narrow paintbrush, with stiff bristles, to remove chalk marks as it's more eco friendly than a man-made sponge. The towel holder zipper hack is wonderful, have used it for several years now. I have mine attached to a ceramic coaster so it's small enough to store but heavy enough to not move when in use. As for a shower cap, they aren't hard to make so there's a thought. Or, you could use a scrap of fabric you like and just use a scrunchie to hold the scrap in place. I use Command medium crystal knobs on my rulers. When you use a suction device like you showed, you can't see the numbers directly underneath it because the device is in the way. The transparent knobs work the same way but you can see the numbers through them. They're easy to remove but I just leave mine on permanently.
I have a couple small lazy Susan’s I got from $$Tree awhile back - they fit threads pretty well depending on f in the spool, size, but they also have a short pedestal so I can sit one on top of the other if the threads are the same height - they are much smaller in diameter but fit my table better - although I do like the larger one!
Try using yours, waffle weave things you put in your cabinet to protect your dishes you get a dollar tree they’ve got it put that on the bottom of that. It from scooting around.
Get a clear command hooks at dollar tree or wherever and use the regular command hooks strips that are clear and put on there because that way you can see through it and it doesn’t obstruct your view of your grids on your square.
Yes of course. In fact, I have a free video and pattern on how to make your own cord keeper. Please keep in mind that these were all suggestions from all the TH-cam subscribers so I’m just sharing what everybody here who are my subscribers had ideas for. There’s lots of ways to do things and it’s always nice to see other ideas. If you’d like to go check out my video, you can go right here. th-cam.com/video/a_5gS6UmG-Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iemHrS_Wroyt0Aud
I did enjoy all of these but the options which are just lazy vs respectful towards the environment. Using that tape to gather cords, absolute waste. Plus it is expensive too. I know lazy makes a person come up with shortcuts but they should never come at the expense of our environment. Just my opinion. Have a lovely day everyone.
The zipper tip was amazing. I did learn a few new tips
I’m so glad!

I totally agree! I’m glad one of my subscribers shared it with me.
Great video!! I will definitely use a some of these ideas. Thank you so much for sharing! Have a great week of sewing!! ❤😊
Thank you! You as well
You could make your own "showercap" with scraps from your stockpile too :)
You sure could!
Love #3 “notion”! What a brilliant idea!
So many clever ideas I get from my TH-cam friends
I’ve been using the pop up cell phone “handles” for years on my rulers. I also use small Command brand adhesive hooks on my rulers. Great tips.

Thanks for sharing so many ideas
Felt on the foot pedal! Genius.

I use the #3 towel holder for putting on zipper pulls, but I adhered it to a tile coaster. Works perfect and doesn't take up too much space.
Great idea!

Thank you! We did cover that in another video too. So many great ideas! Keep them coming.
Where can I get that zipper thing to get the pull on the zipper? I really struggle with that!
They are Tea Towel holders from home stores. I got mine from Amazon here amzn.to/3CJzSFw

Yes! Good idea. That was shared in another of the 6 other videos and a few other ideas. Thanks for sharing it works for you too.
Moleskin adhesive is a bear to remove - I’d choose Velcro instead
Also an option. As mentioned at the beginning of all these videos, there were ideas that came in from my subscribers.
I use empty toilet paper rolls for my cord management. No adhesive required and they are plentiful.
Good idea
I have done that for many years with kitchen appliance cords - I used marker to write on the cardboard core so I knew which appliance it belongs to!
Genius!!!
There were so many great ideas from all my subscribers. I’ve got at least one more video coming out! Stay tuned.
I can never do the zipper pull-ugh
If you sew and or you are a quilter, why the world would you not make your own shower cap and also why wouldn’t you make your own cordkeepers?

Because we're too busy buying fabric!
