When trying to get clutch pedal pressure on Subaru's just fill the reservoir with fluid and pump the clutch pedal to floor really hard and fast. Like 10 times in about 5 to 10 seconds should do the trick.
Definitely replace the clutch master…I had the same issue w my 02..Clutch pedal would fall to the floor..I started w a brand new OEM slave cylinder, that did not fix the issue. I then bought a brand new master cylinder…That was it…On the bottom of the master cylinder there’s a circle piece w like a ring on it…If it’s rusted it’s loosing pressure…Your rolling the dice w a used one, could have the same issue, or come w it later down the road…Good luck and I’m enjoying the series Thankyou…
Thanks! I did end up replacing it and it feels much better at this point. Glad I did it since it was probably the original master with over 230k miles on it.
