"Craptastic"!! I love that word!! LOL :-) I am going to put that in my personal dictionary. ;-) Hang in there with the holidays - just 3ish more weeks! ;-) You are doing so well, and how awesome that you have been such a great example to your dad!! Have a great week. ~ hugs

Judy Blume tween novel. LOL! Love it! I get really irritated around this time of year. I can't stand the crowds and the rudeness especially in the stores. I'm really trying to avoid all of them by doing all of my shopping online. LOL! I do wish I could go to that art walk though. I love that kind of stuff. I loved taking pottery. A tip for the glazes... make yourself a test tile and block it off into squares. Put all of the glazes (even any you want to mix together) in the squares and write them down. Takes all the guess work out of how the colors will turn out. :)

+Killing Fat Aimee with VSG Loved me some Judy Blume, back in the day. Thanks for the glaze tips! I am going to do that next round.

Isn't it great?!? Public seating is NO issue. That's SO cool about your Dad! Tell him the truth and be supportive- you're right he's a grown man- but how lucky for him to have his daughter by his side. I sometimes have less patience too. I think it comes with the territory because now more than ever I feel like I know what I want and what I don't want to put up with. Look at you- GREAT physical accomplishments. Geez- I need to get going on the plank progress! Great job Amy!

+Cartwheel Vsg Thanks Cici! I am getting to know myself better and better, and what I do and don't want - one of the fringe benefits of this time of self-focus.

Wowzers!!! You look amazing!! :)) Great loss too. If the surgery results don't turn out great, don't think that it is your fault... Everyone is different. As for mood... and irritated.. as much I think I get the man-strual cycle too, I feel that my pissy mood towards others is because of them... I don't think it is me... just the people in my life.. Haha Keep it up!

+Skotti RNY Thanks Skotti! I am going to adopt your view - if my mood is bad, it has to be someone else's fault. LOL.

I have heard that hormones are rapidly released during the weight loss after wls and it creates crazy mood swings and personality changes until they level out. That's why "don't make any major life changing decisions during the first year" is a tip that the vets always stress. so, crazy is normal. lol

Amie you look super amazing!!!every time I see your videos, they give so much hope, sometimes I feel like I'm an alien at home, my husband and my son are trying very hard to help me out with my mood swings, but I'm getting so many changes in my body and my mood sometimes is incredibly grumpy and the lost of hair is so depressive I feel afraid to wash my hair as it fall so much. I'm taking my vitamins and iron and everything , but it won't stop falling, did you experience that?.

+Mariel Munoz Hi Mariel! Thanks so much I am glad you like the video. :) As for feeling swings and moods - you are not alone! The mental part of this journey is the tougher part, I think. Give yourself a break - be patient with yourself - this is tough, but you are strong enough for it, I just know it. The hair thing is really hard for me too. I had really fine thin hair to start with, and have been taking vitamins, but honestly, this is something that happens to most of us to differing degrees. Someone recommended a dry powder product called Toppik that I ordered off of amazon, and it really covers my thin spots while I wait for my hair to come back. I recommend it highly, but only use it on days I am going out. Otherwise, I take my vitamins and let my hair recover - it just takes time. Hugs to you sweet lady!
