  • If you still remember, I did my deadhead video on The Poet's wife 3 weeks ago. This rose started to bloom 2 weeks after the deadhead and I finally have the time to take its video and show y'all how well it blooms after deadhead.
The Poet's wife is a really reliable bloomer in my garden. The break between blooms are always about 2 weeks for each flush. It will continue to bloom until frost. A lots of people complain about how soft and thin its canes but I find a really great solution by growing it in the tall or urn pot so the blooms will actually trail down and create this waterfall effect, which I think it very beautiful.
I also loves its strong fruity fragrance a lot and it is always there no matter the time of the day! Highly recommend this rose for our warm climate.

Thank you for your videos! This is so true with TPW. I might do the same with mine. It has so many blooms but they are big and heavy. This is a great idea, thank you 🍃💛🍃

It is so beautiful. According to the David Austin website it grows to be at least 4 ft x 4 ft'. I guess pruning will help to keep it small enough for a pot. (It will have to be planted in the ground eventually.) :)

This rose just never grow big for me. Maybe if it is planted in the ground it might grow that big. So far, everyone in my area never have their Poet's wife grow into 4ft x 4ft.

Not at all. Poet's wife bloom is a lot smaller than Teasing Georgia and it is very grow. Teasing Georgia is more orange.
