- The "buri-nawa" is a japanese tree climbing technique. It's as simple as it's ingenious, since it only requires two sticks connected by a rope. Its disadvantage is that it doesn't allow you to climb down easily.
Le « buri-nawa » est une technique japonaise permettant grimper dans les arbres. Elle est à la fois simple et ingénieuse, puisqu'elle ne nécessite que deux bâtons reliés par une corde. Son inconvénient est qu'elle ne permet pas de redescendre facilement.

So risky....many Japanese burinawa climbers have died....there's gotta be a way to tie into the tree as you go....
