Yeah my budgie always copies ,e if I am holding it , like if am noding my head in yes it will copie me and start noding his head in yes and it's Soo cute to watch your bird doing that 😁
i never noticed when my bird learned it but he loves kisses. a lot of the time when hes on my shoulder he leans in close to my face and its adorable
he chirps and bobs his head up and down. he also learned how to make the 'smooch' noise every time i give him kisses its adorable!!

I remember eating in the living room some toast, and my budgie was on my chest. He would usually come go my lips and start "eating" them 🤣. I miss and love him do much 🦜❤️

What does it mean when birds suddenly freak out over nothing and start flying all around the cage
Fun fact: Lineolated Parakeets puff up multiple times a day before they nap or as a sign of comfort 😃☝️ which can make it even harder to spot if they are unwell/sick 😅

I have a green cheek so I’m not sure if your videos apply. I’ve had it for a month, I’m a new bird owner and never even touched a bird before. I just had to rescue her/him from a very tiny cage with zero toys. Now he/she has a huge cage with tons of natural toys and 5 different kinds of perches. I buy it the best food pellets and it refuses to eat vegetables and barely any pellets, it’s breaking my heart. I found her on Kijiji and they said it was 1 1/2 years old but they knew nothing about the bird so it was frustrating because there was a language barrier between us. They gave me a bag of it food that was full of dollar store crap and fruit loop cereal, no joke. I threw that crap right in the garage and got it Harrison’s pellets but it won’t eat much of it so I give it a mix of freeze dried veggies, hemp seed, chia seeds and safflower seeds. I make and buy foraging toys and she’s only interested in one , it looks like a honeycomb and I hide saltless sunflower seeds in it, her favourite. I hang fresh veggies and make a chop and she completely ignores it but I won’t give up. I also can train her because she’s terrified of the little training stick. They had a kid around 5 or 6 so it’s possible that kids poked at the bird with stuff. They said they had to get rid of it because “ someone in the house had a bird phobia.” Then why did they get it? My poor birdie.
OMG poor birdie, thanks to you it has a good life now. That's a great thing you've done. I think your birdie has a trauma because of the bad treatment before. Thank God that someone there was allergic and that you found her. ❤ Slowly she will open up to you and lose (most) of her fears. You'll see. I once had such a birdie too. He was a budgie though. He was afraid of many things. Even leafs and natural things to play with. But it got better. I wish you and your birdie lots of joy and a beautiful bonding together.❤

My Parakeet bends down and rams his head on my mouth. Sometimes even my nose. He will keep doing it till I open my mouth. He loves looking to see what I'm eating lol

Hi, this is Random, but my birds cere (the thing above its beak) used to be a pretty pink, but turned brown and crusty in around a month. She’s not old, not even a year, but I don’t know why it turned brown. Can someone please explain?

That’s good! Beak grinding is a sign of comfort. As for him tapping your hand, it might be him just showing he loves you!

My fiancé and I just got a pair of canary winged parakeets. They are temperamental. Some times they’re okay with us but sometimes they bite the crap out of us! 😅. They’re very young still so we’re hoping for the best! I can relate to your feeling.

Bond with it use food to get it used to ur hands they need to get acquainted with hands near and then in the cage

I trained my budgie within the 2nd day of having her. I let her out of the cage, she flew around and hopped on my arm looking for food. Since then I taught her to recall and step up. Currently this is the 4th, almost 5th day of having her.
I cannot taming my budgie help me I can't do anything it's been 1 year and I cannot be tamed😢
