I love this video so much even though I have watched it on a past publishement on this channel. I got 2 new budgies, they are both under 4 months old and frightened. My cage is vertically long and the cage sides are also vertical constructed so my older budgies can grasp onto them and climb. But the young budgie has a hard time climbing up and her feet are also so tiny. So I have no choice but to help her climb up, she begins running to the top when i try to assist her with my hand, so i place my hands on her feet while she is scared and climbing up. She gives up and sits on my finger when i do this mostly. then I place her on the perch she wanted to sit on. I could take her out and let out all my affection for her cuteness but then i think i need to gain her trust so everytime she gives up and falls on my hand, i will put her on the perch. It is only 3rd day for her here and she is doing better and better each time. I would've never used my hands on such a scared and untamed bird but I just cant help it when she is sqeauking to go to the pereches and tiring herself out getting no where. I need to help her *edit: I added a ladder but its isnt tall enough for her to get to the perch. may just buy a horizantal constructed cage for her now. Hi Salvador budgie. I know you commented back on my comment a while ago and said to give my budgie treats to get it out of my cage but the thing is she doesn’t like millit and veg/fruit. Do u know any other ways to get her out of the cage
It’s actually good to tame a birb alone because it won’t get distracted, but you need to get another birb because they are social creatures and could get into a depression if left all alone
Birds are social creatures, but if you only have one bird, just make sure you spend a little extra time with it. This will also increase the bond between you and your bird.
Thank you! It will help me a lot. What do I do about a biting budgie though? I have one and she bites very hard. But she seems relaxed and isn't scared of me, when I enter my hand into the cage, she bites very hard but still eats some food. Any tips for a biting budgie?
Birds are territorial animals they probably don’t want you to enter it territory yet and might see u as an intruder, try not to wince when you get bit the channel has a video on that
oh thanks for all the advice. Apparently, she has reduced biting. I don't wince but she bites harder than other budgies for some reason. I mean, I see her biting literally everything she sees. But I will try and do everything I was advised to!

I need advice! We have a budgie that we have been trying to train for about 18 months. Early on he would play outside his cage and fly around the room. Gradually he became more cage bound. We recently brought home a new budgie and our first was very happy. Playing with the new budgie, flying around the room and playing. Hello, My budgie recently started laying eggs, but after laying 2 eggs now she isn't laying 3rd egg, it's been almost 9 days since she laid the 2nd egg. What shall i do?
If it’s the first time there’s no problem. Next time give it powder of calcium ،which saled in stores that specialist of birds and pets so that to put more eggs #parrotino
@@muazammohidin If your birds don’t incubate on the eggs, then the reason is they’re afraid of something or the position of the cage in a place where the frequency of movement or you disturb them by looking too much or inserting your hand into them.
@@muazammohidin First of all if days have passed but the female didn’t lap the eggs thus it’s corrupt. Or the chicks died inside.….Second thing, here's some script for the female to keep the eggs. I got 2 lovebirds and one (the female) is kinda skittish and the other one (the male) just loves human companionship and when he's out of his cage will come chill on my head or eat with us (he gets his own little plate at the dining table since he started coming to ours to eat our food. Both our favorite foods is spaghetti bolognese which makes it even cuter). The female however had to be taken to the vet without her being trained in advance so we really had to capture it.. Was really sorry for the bird but it needed treatment. She's slowly coming out of her shell by accepting treats from us when she's sitting near. Hope to achieve the same behavior as with our male. Slowly but surely earning trust.

Sometime store bought birds will not play with toys , either the toy U bought is too big for it chew , or it's just his personality. Slowly add veggies to his seeds bowl
I adopted 2 (1-2 month old) budgies october 1 2023 and at first they were skitish but at least allowed me to take them out of the cage Now they refuse to let me touch them and flip out when I clean their cage or change their food and water bowls

I have had Crypto for a year now, and I only discovered your amazing channel 5 months ago and I didn't know you should first tame him in his cage before you let him out. Ok, so last year my next door neighbour asked me if I want Crypto, I said yes, but the next day my neighbour told me he was a little bit sick, he was 5 weeks old and could eat by himself, at that time he was tamed and sat on your hand, but because he was sick they had to treat him, and they had to grab him. Now it is a year later and he only sits on my shoulder and if I have bird safe food in my hand he will eat out of my hand, but he won't perch my hand or finger. He has a large playground, he is out the whole day, he is in my room where I am, so he is out and spend the whole day with me. I spend a lot of time wit him. So can you help me tame my budgie. I watch your videos every week, I LOVE your channel and your budgies. I wish my Crypto was as tamed as your Neo. I need advice! We have a budgie that we have been trying to train for about 18 months. Early on he would play outside his cage and fly around the room. Gradually he became more cage bound. We recently brought home a new budgie and our first was very happy. Playing with the new budgie, flying around the room and playing. This lasted 2-3 days then he returned to his cage refusing to come out again. What can I do to help my first budgie adapt? Please help. Thank you.
Give the bird some things to do outside. Put some food, water, toys, and perches for them to use
Thank you. I’ll try that.
I got my budgie 4months ago his cage is never closed he'll eat out of my won't fly away when I'm changing things in his cage but will not let me attempt to try step up with him he will only try 1leg and then fly away

Hello,
My budgie recently started laying eggs, but after laying 2 eggs now she isn't laying 3rd egg, it's been almost 9 days since she laid the 2nd egg. What shall i do?
If it’s the first time there’s no problem. Next time give it powder of calcium ،which saled in stores that specialist of birds and pets so that to put more eggs
#parrotino
@Parrotino Thank you for your help, btw they are neither sitting on these eggs, is it okay?
@@muazammohidin If your birds don’t incubate on the eggs, then the reason is they’re afraid of something or the position of the cage in a place where the frequency of movement or you disturb them by looking too much or inserting your hand into them.
@@SportingWild is there something that i can do to make them sit on the eggs
@@muazammohidin First of all if days have passed but the female didn’t lap the eggs thus it’s corrupt. Or the chicks died inside.….Second thing, here's some script for the female to keep the eggs.
Don't bother them as much as I told you earlier.
- cage position at the highest eye level
- stimulated by mating sounds
If the female entered after the egg was rigid. Otherwise remove the nest and make it in a week.
I got my budgie just 4 days ago and he is already getting used to stepping on my finger tho I haven’t put my hand in there daily he lets me pet him
Wowww
I adopted a 3 year old male budgie that a man surrendered to pet shop in which I work, he is so scared of everything :( I worry he will never trust me
(he will get a mate, but has a respiratory issue, so it must wait until he recovers)
Billie relived yay :)
So it’s okay if I adopt one if it isn’t young?
Bro I need help
My budgie eats from my finger but when I try to perch her my finger she often runs
whats that giant rod of seeds called, im only 12 with 4 budgies

I will buy a budgie and when should I give him treats
I have two birds one of them sat on my fingers but the second one bites me every time I make contact with him and my first bird sat on my hand but when I try to pet her she flew away from me can you help me to figure out that problem
Hi! I need help, i got my budgie 5 days ago, i am still giving it space but i put in toys for her and she doesn't even go close to it, she flies around it's cage making calling sounds/little squeaks, or watch what i am doing, and she didn't want to eat veggies/fruits, what should i do?
Sometime store bought birds will not play with toys , either the toy U bought is too big for it chew , or it's just his personality. Slowly add veggies to his seeds bowl
@abdulquddoos2002 okay thank you:)
@@RubyDragonz411 welcome 😁

Hello my name is Azelie, this is my dad's phone. I was wondering if jou could help me with my budgie Crypto. Crypto is as playful as Neo, he loves mirrors, loves playing around, chew every thing he sees and loves cos lettuce (romaine lettuce).
It cost 6 million jews , It needs more than that

Sorry my bird attacks my keyboard sometimes
If my bird won't let me touch its head or tail does that mean it doesn't trust me?
Hi
I can pat my budgie, Zippy. He accepts food from my hand. But I can't seem to get him on my finger and out of the cage ): I feel stuck
and when u are washing dishes it will maybe take a dump😅😅
I adopted an adult bird, I tried to put my bird inside my house, it's fine. But if I try to pet her she keeps run away from me, yesterday she escaped from house too
I should have only bought one budgie. Got a pair and I cant tame them. Will let these birds be wild.
When they kick the bucket. I might buy a tamed budgie directly.
I am watching this for my 3 month old indian ringneck
I thought that my bird only let me pet him because he was itchy-
I will buy a bird saturday
