@@michal.mrozek Yes :) ! Have seen another channel about living in the North of Sweden, there were swimsuit photos on a snowmobile just last week. Unsubscribed. Forced nudity is not exactly what I'm expecting from that type of channels. And to be almost naked by -30 you need to be determined to show yourself off ;)

Hi Leena and Joachim. This was one of the most beautiful videos you've ever done. We have the sun effect here as well. We live in a high-rise, and during the winter as the sun swings around the building from East to West, we look west, usually from 11am till sunset, we get direct sun. In the winter though, the sun is lower on the horizon and disappears behind the tall buildings in our west view for most of the winter, now from around noon till sunset, it s hidden from directly hitting our windows. The sun is beginning to rise higher now like it does over your valley and to your cabin. Can't wait to see the lanterns, they are beautiful. Nice to see you as always. Greetings from Montreal.

The video has been made very aesthetically! You have beautifully captured the pristine beauty as well as the challenges of such freezing winters. Back here in India, the sun rises every morning and we take it so much for granted.
This may have been suggested....put a large tarpaulin/cover over your car to keep it free of snow, so much less shovelling to do.

Such a harsh environment but beautiful all the same, we have no clue of what you need to do just to get groceries, I lived in the UK we had snow but nothing like you get, and now living in a subtropical climate we rarely see a frost, the lanterns are just so amazing, thank you for sharing🙏 stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🌞

Hello Leena. I came across your work on youtube by recommendation. We visited Norway for the first time last year travelling up and down the coast in winter on one of the Hurtigruten vessels and we were just blown away by the beauty of what we saw and by the friendly interactions we had with many people. Anyway we watched episode 21 together and really loved what we saw, so much so that after subscribing we watched more episodes one after the other until sleepiness took its toll on our elderly frames!! Your photography is splendid, your dog is lovely (we've got a couple at home, our 6th and 7th as it happens and they have all been special in their own way) and you two seem well suited and well tuned into each other, an atmosphere of calm and gentle affection underpinning everything. Our house is by the foot of a mountain, and so for the winter months we get no sun. When the sun finally clears the mountain and shines on our house again, it's such a great feeling.
The upside is that we have lots of sun in the summer, of course :) .

Hi Leena! I love your videos and your story! We travelled in Norway two years ago and I just loved the mountains and scenery there. PS: Don't burn wood which hasn't dried. It should dry some months under a roof or indoors, preferably during the summer, before you burn it. This is also better for the climate. Buy wood to burn, until yours has dried. Considering your car has front wheel drive, it struggles to drive up hill on snow even witch chains because there is not enough weight on the front wheels. Driving up the hill backwards puts more weight on the front wheels and makes it easier to get up the hill without the wheels spinning. We did this in Austria to get to our cabin which was at the end of a steep hill.
Good idea to use a light indoors during the dark winter time. Philips made a Bright Light Energy light that emits bright white light (whiter that the building light you used) that helps against winter depression and helps the body to produce more melatonin so you sleep better at night. You can't buy them new anymore but I saw some second hand on eBay. It helped me a lot.

I just wanted to say that your story is very inspiring and I can relate at some points. I used to put a lot of pressure on myself to fit in, to silence the little voice in my head telling me that what I was doing was not making me happy but recently I realised this was not healthy to live like that and I changed my mental. I started to listen to myself which actually feels much better.
When borders will be open again, I'll jump into a plane for Norway because I've been wanting to visit it for so long but never had the occasion to. I feel like it's a peaceful country, and it looks so beautiful ❤️

So funny, I have done the same thing as you, some days ago: to throw boiling water on a sunny freezing cold day. It is so amazing, I love the effect. I also filmed it for my next video.
