#Clayface #Batman - บันเทิง
Clayface is the definitely one of Batman's most dangerous villains
Also by far the best stage actor among his rogues gallery
@@ethanp5948 Basil Karlo is my favorite and the original Clayface
Don't know why someone like him became a Batman villain instead of being a Superman or Flash Villain
@@quentinfogger5755 The original Clayface first appearance is 1940 Detective Comics #40
Same can say for Sandman and Spiderman if he wanted to could easily kill anyone marvel if they treated him right and just think Clayface and Sandman team up
"Treasure-hunter Matt Hagen was transformed into the monstrous Clayface by a pool of radioactive protoplasm. He now possesses super-strength and can transform his claylike body into any form." Lego Batman D.S.
Personally one of my favorite iterations of Clayface has to be the Ethan Bennett version from The Batman (2004) series. I love his slender yet menacing design, I love the fact that he's an original character, and I really love how he has a more interpersonal relationship Bruce with Ethan being his former best friend who is also one of the cops that's trying to arrest Batman; it renders Ethan's eventual transformation into Clayface, at the hands of the Joker, that much more tragic.
His appearance in Batman Arkham City was a surprising treat; I forgot about him right up until the end of the story mode of the game.
Clayface is one of the most dangerous villains batman has ever faced. I remember him in batman, the animated series, the Justice League episodes, and from The Batman 2004, yet he's highly underrated. Thanks for the video.
Bane hold my ✊

One of my favourite villains. And I remember watching his movie in the animated series, and his last words still haunt me. "Curtain's going down..."
There is also Ethan Bennett from the 2004 batman cartoon he is police detective and a good friend to Bruce Wayne
Was he ever incorporated into the comics?
I've been waiting for this my boys finally getting some recognition
Honestly my favorite was when they made him good, showed character development and I almost cried when I thought Batwoman killed him
My favorite Clay face moments in media is from the Harley Quinn show where he was being controlled by someone else and turned huge and earth breaking and everyone was like "really you could do that this whole time" kind of how Peter Parker doesn't use his full power
Ethan Bennett was an underrated Clayface and was a favorite of mine from The Batman cartoon!
I hope one day for Villains Month you do a video for the Ventriloquist and Scarface. He is my favorite Batman villain and is very underrated!
Dummy !
It sucks they hardly ever use him in comics 🙃
I know right!? There is so much you can do with his character and modern writers like Tom King or Chip Zdarsky could make some great stories with him!
Please do a history of Animal Man episode the character deserves so much more recognition
The serial killer clayface one is my favourite. its just so realistic and so dark, i love it !
Clay gave one of my favorite. Had his animated series toy.
That origin in Batman the animated series was amazing for him!!!!
Such an underrated & underused villain, tbh
I really love Clayface in the Harely Quinn series. He’s over the top in just the right ways.
Honestly forgot it was clayface
I remember a story where Karlo gained his powers via blood transfusion from the other clayface’s
Same here! It was Batman the animated series that got me into the character, Clay face along with The Batman 2004 when detective Ethan Bennet was kidnapped by the Joker, who later transformed him into clay face.
Basil Karlo is my favorite Batman Rogue! ❤
The "Growing Pains" episode of the New Adventures of Batman is one of the best Clayface stories. A real heart breaker...
First Clay Face having a Phantom of the Opera feel to it.
Shout out to Ron Pearlman in BTAS for incredible matt Hagen voice work. AND The detective comics run of clay face as apart of the team was INCREDIBLE
I'm really hoping we get to see him in a live action movie someday.
I don't know which Clayface I like more, Basil Karlo or Matt Hagen.
I think Basil Karlo and it's true because he's the first Clayface
Am confused i thought karlo was the normal dude without powers , and matt was the actual one with clay powers
Clay face to me is Batman’s most terrifying villain. He transform to almost anything or anyone.
Dunno if this is a controversial take, but my favorite Clayface is the one in the Harley Quinn series. Alan Tudyk as a hungry thespian is just too funny, and it makes a lot of sense for a character that looks like he does.
Surely Clayface must be the Next Villain in the Batman.
Love him in the Harley Quinn series as well, there he's still a tragic figure but also a funny one.
“My mom told me I could be anything I wanted. ANYTHING.”
―Clayface
You can’t stop me
It’s Clayfacin’ Time
Clayface in the Harley Quinn animated series is pretty hilarious
Definitely one of Batman’s most dangerous villains.
Clay face was always one of my favorite Batman villains! Please do Magneto for Villains month!!!
I still hope Clayface gets a live action debut in a future Batman film!
Supposedly he's supposed to be the villian for Robert Patterson Batman.
@@cactusblack5993 clayface is awesome
He needs to appear in the next batman movie.
Matt hagen or basil karlo's version either one would be great.
Clayface in The Batman was great. Bennet was a fun take on the character
Fun fact, the first one’s name is a reference to the actors Basil Rathbone and Boris Carloff
Great add! 😎
My most favorite moments of clayface was the animated series version. And Arkham City. That reveal in the end was baffling and amazing. Chef's kiss.
That episode in TAS with Tim trying to protect the little girl shook me.
The Batman's Clayface vs Clayface was cool!
BUT TAS Mr. Freeze will always be my favourite villain from that era. Cold and calculated.
If the next Batman movie has Clayface as a villain, Will Smith is the perfect cast. Hey, it worked with RDJ!
I could see Will Smith being Ethan Bennett or a race swapped Basil Karlo/Matt Hagen. Very cool!

Can you look at the History of The Brain from Teen Titans/Doom Patrol🧠🤖
It's not working
Excited to see him in the Matt Reaves movies
I've always thought they never used Clayface's full potential in any story. Because he is essentially a clay construct T1000
My favorite Clayface moment was from the Batman 2004 cartoon series season 4 episode 3 Clayfaces
One of the best Clayface episodes in TAS was Growing Pains where Clayface created a little girl named Annie to scope out if it was safe. She lost her memory when she wandered away, hooked up with Robin, then sacrificed herself to save him, being reabsorbed into Clayface and essentially dying. Such a well-written episode.
Been waiting for this episode!!! Thank you!!!
I like the Clayface in Harley Quinn, voiced by Alan Tudyk. Interesting, but not evil.
The most interesting story was where Batman gave clayface a second chance. You don't earn Batman's trust just like that. That story arc must be featured as a separate video.
I think the modern DC rebirth clayface origin is a very good story because it shows elements from the anime series. I think it's in a Batman annual, but I don't know the number. It elaborates more on the accident that he mentions.
One of the best, he needs a movie
I feel like him and scarecrow would be a deadly combo because clayface could turn into like the waynes or one of the robins while batman is filled with fear toxin
It's unfortunate that I seem to be in such a minority on this, but all my favorite comic book antagonists are the ones that can actually be pretty decent and cooperative if they're just given some kindness and understanding. Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, etc. Sadly the nature of comics being so firmly dedicated to their status quo means it's extremely rare for that character development to stick like it did for Quinn. Nine times out of ten a new writer eventually comes along and reduces them back into an evil snarling monster for the hero to punch.
Clayface is underrated.
The first time I saw clayface on Batman tas as a kid he scared me I never forgot that episode when he bust his form after impersonating someone and can’t forget the woman at the end of the episode but thanks arrris now I can look back and laugh 😂
Clay face in the Batman was pretty well down as well being detective Ming partner.
I do like the story of the mud pack. Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle helped set the trend for the Caylface character we know today
The 2003 was always my favorite version of clayface, but this gave me more to read.
Can you do a history of The Man-Bat, please 🙏? He spooked me as a kid in batman, the animated series.
If you're gonna talk about the awesome incarnations of Clayface, you have to talk about Ethan Bennett.
My favorite moment of Clayface is where he disguise as a healthy looking Joker in Batman Arkham City while also being the final boss as well. He could make an perfect villain in The Batman 2.
The episode of the animated series when Clayface made the little girl that Robin became friends with.
Clayface top 6 batman villian
YES!!! Top 5 Batman Villain!
In more recent media they Brought back Basil Karlo who gained the powers of the other Clayface's by Injecting himself with all their blood samplessentially turning him into the most powerful version of Clayface
You forgot one of the best Clayfaces of all time: Ethan Bennett (The Batman 2004)
Ethan's not canon though
Alright clayface! Cool.
Can you do the history of magneto, gambit, judge dredd, Cassie hack, qwenpool, hit monkey, vamperrella, moon girl & devil dinosaur and league of extraordinary gentlemen
Yunno it's a shame that we'll probably never see ClayFace in film, because all modern day Batman films MUST be gRoUnDeD iN rEaLiTy.
So when are you going to do history of DC Despero since he is one of the biggest Justice League Villians from the Comics?
Bro my new favorite villian ngl
Will there be more “Astonishing Times” cuz that series is AWESOME 🥳🥳🥳
I remember hitting the roof when my dad got me the Clayface action figure from BAS, and he had this arm that would shoot out a metal ball.
Matt Hagan is my favorite version of Clayface and the BTAS origin story is my favorite origin story of the character.
To me, the fact that particular version was voiced by Ron Perlman helped out quite a bit.
@@johnnyhall4335 that could be the reason so many of our generation like it.
This guy is rumored to be the main villain of The Batman Part 2.
In Batman the Animated series although the Clayface in that series is Matt Hagen they obviously based his career as an actor off Basil Karlo
I think Batman: TAS is what introduced me to Clayface!
Wish they could do clayface in live action
4 part series "The Mud Pack" when all 4 of the Clayfaces sought revenge on Batman.
Also you forgot that Clayface, is immortal.
One of the most interesting versions of clayface was from the 2008 "the batman" series where they took liberties to change alot of villains but I thought clayface was one of the better alterations to making his origin and story more unique
You forgot “Growing Pains” from BTAS. Great episode!!
Can you do a history of captain cold? Dude is part of the legion of doom!
I loved him in the Batman Animated series as a kid, but most recently the version of him in the Harley Quinn show is toooo funny and comes in second place.
Clay face has to be in a Batman’ movie
Are you going to do history of Jentorra, Kryler(played by Bill Murray), Multiple Man, Cassie Lang as Stature/Stinger and the city of Chronopolis in honour of the Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumainia movie?
My favorite controversial clayface moment actully comes from "the batman" done by kids WB. Much later addition, but he is tortured by the joker and becomes clayface as a result. Then when he is later taunting batman he changes his face to the joker and says the famous line: "Do you know what separates the freaks from the normals? Just one bad day! Ever had a bad day batsy?"
The role of a lifetime.
This is the villain I want to see on the big screen! Tired of the same old Joker, Catwoman, ScareCrow, Two Face, Penguin, etc.
One of my favorites is in the Arkham City when he was impersonating The Joker
They should an arc where clay face becomes a hero
I actually liked the 2004 The Batman cartoon Clayface. I liked how he was a cop and Bruce’s friend
What do you think the live action version of Clayface is going to be like? Do you think we will see him either in the Matt Reeves Batman movie or in the upcoming Batman the Brave and the Bold movie in James Gunn DC projects in the DCU?
The thing that makes Clayface very dangerous is, his amorphous body and intangible structure. Bullets don't work, electricity doesn't kill, and regular attacks can't hurt him.
Clayface can also shape shift giving him the perfect disguise, his voice is also changed to that of the person he imitates making his presence unpredictable.
Clayface has only a few known weaknesses' given he is compromised of clay, he's weak to water because, water makes clay runnier. Heat is also a weakness because, it will set and harden, and alternatively cool, which will freeze and prevent clay from being malleable.
Overall I like Clayface not just due to his origins, but because overall he is so deadly and hard to deal with.
Awesome video and Hope for Marvel Scorpion
You missed his most legendary portrayal in Harley Quinn! 😜
What’s going on with Astonishing Times? A great series but short, felt like 50 issues crammed into 5.
Infinite is a very interesting character.
Now i know a good Death Battle
Clayface vs Sandman
