Okay, the story goes as follows. The first five Megaman X games occur as normal. In the fifth installment Zero dies protecting X and killing Sigma who wanted to make a world where reploids (robots who can think for themselves and feel the very same emotions as humans) reign supreme. X took up Zeros blade after X5 and presumably fought for a long time against the Mavericks (Reploids who were rampaging) until Zero resurfaced. At some point Cyber Elves were created to aid humans and reploids. The ‘black orb thing’ was actually the one who spawned most of the Cyber Elves and it was called Mother Elf. At some point Weil (scientist guy who was calling Zero a fake) made the Mother Elf go crazy, turning her into the Dark Elf. The Dark Elf then began, with Weils assistance, a war that was referred to as the Elf Wars. Weil made Omega with the intent to further his own goals after he was banished from Neo Arcadia. His banishment was directly related to the fact that he created Omega. Omegas body presumably held the original Zeros from X5 which is why in this video Omega Zero (the darker toned version of Zero) occasionally flashes to the Sprite Zero had in X5. Zeros copy (the one who Weil mocks as a fake) fought in that war alongside X. They managed to seal Omega off alongside the Dark Elf. Zero was critically damaged during that and X was used to house the Dark Elf and was sealed away to ensure no one could tamper any further with her. A century later and the first Zero game begins. Zeros broken down body was found by Ciel (yellow haired girl) while she was running from Mavericks alongside some soldiers who formed a resistance with her as the unofficial head of it. The world, at this point, was almost entirely a wasteland due to the worlds natural resources being used up too much. Ciel was working on an infinite source of energy to solve an energy crisis that, if solved, can seriously change the world and repair nearly all the damage caused to it during the Elf War. Zero awakens to protect her and kicks off the first Zero game. During that game he meets the four guardians of the last human settlement, aptly named the 4 guardians who’re also fiercely loyal to X. X had a copy made sometime before Zeros awakening that formed a settlement for humans where they’d be protected and kept safe called Neo Arcadia. However, Copy X developed a messiah complex that eventually caused him to begin purging reploids for their resources. He wasn’t like the original X in that regard. Zero confronted and destroyed the Copy X before beginning his own battle against Neo Arcadia. His battle eventually got to him as a year later he was found collapsed in the desert by one of the four guardians who dropped his damaged body off at the resistance base who just gave a reploid named Harpuia command over it. Harpuia eventually went mad with jealousy towards Zero, who held Ciels affections without knowing it, and began a crusade against Neo Arcadia. He wanted to purge humans completely. He eventually found the body of the Original X and killed him, freeing the Dark Elf. Zero went on to battle Harpuia and destroy him. This is where Weil comes in and where Zero 3 begins. Weil found and freed Omega and rebuilt Copy X. He then manipulated Copy X so he could basically be in control of Neo Arcadia. Zero went on to once more destroy Copy X, which Weil actually hoped would happen. Neo Arcadia and the 4 guardians didn’t know X was truly dead, though he lived on as a Cyber Elf without any of them knowing. Weil announced the death of X and blamed Zero and the resistance, using that to assume absolute control over Neo Arcadia. Zero went on to continue battle in an attempt to destroy Omega, whom was Weils main military force. This is what leads us to this battle. Omega was in control of the original Zeros body and Weil gained control over the Dark Elf whom was unwillingly helping Weil. As for what happened when Zero entered that door, Megaman Zero 3 had a mechanic called Cyber Space. Certain doors would give you access to Cyber Space where Zero would have access to every Cyber Elf ability he has without restriction. It’s basically a power trip mechanic and most levels in the game use it. Omega Zeros boss fight didn’t use it, dunno why it appeared in this video but I guess it’s referencing the games mechanic? It’s even the only way to encounter one of the four guardians, the only one who died in the first Megaman Zero game. The other 3 appear in this video after Zero gets fucked up and they actually show up in the original games fight to get in some pot shots before letting Zero finish the job. So Zero finishing things in this video in that ‘cliche heroic moment’ was actually due to the fact that canonically he’s the one who finished off Omega Zero. X, as a cyber elf, did show up during the battle too but only to give Zero encouragement before he finished off Omega. After which X died permanently after running out of energy in his Cyber Elf state. Cyber Elves die when they run out of energy and X was no exception. I learned so much lore from playing those MMZ games. It really gives some ties back in to the X series. My only confusion was does the MMZ universe start before or after the X series? It’s probably a dumb question or I wasn’t really paying attention.
@@TheEmpiresStrongest It takes place after Megaman X5. Zero was ‘dead’ at the end of X5 and the original creators made Zero as a pseudo continuation whereas Capcom went on to make X6-X8 against the original creators wishes. So Megaman Zero is the true follow-up to Megaman X5s ‘good’ ending.

This battle is symbolic to me mostly then literal for some parts. I mean some stuff was random. Nevertheless this was very entertaining to see someone reaction to megaman stuf that's new for you lmfao

I've seen many blind reactions to different things, and they can be categorized in two groups: Those who at least TRY to appreciate what they're watching and respect the fact that these series have passionate fans, and those who don't give a shit and and constantly make fun of it. Pretty sure the reason most people were mad was not because they didn't know the series (that isn't their fault), it was because these guys didn't even try to appreciate a fan-made video that was CLEARLY made with an incredible amount of care, effort, and passion for an extremely popular series. Again, I've watched countless blind reactions from people who didn't know the story behind what they're watching, and you can tell who is actually TRYING to appreciate what they're watching, and who doesn't care, and is just trying to be funny by making fun of everything.
