I'm back with yet another peaky blinders video! I can't get enough of editing this show. It's such a masterpiece in my opinion and Luca Changretta is the best villian in the show. I really like how his character arc is developed and I thought I should make a video for him since there isn't a lot of videos out there.

A few things were off about Luca though. Like the fact that he had a neck tattoo... you'd never see that on a mafioso from the 1920s
In my opinion Luca Changretta is the best episodic character in Peaky Blinders. New Yorks mafia theme fits perfectly to the series
Oswald Mosley is 10 times better
i found it pretty cool but also pretty dumb as there is no way Luca could have that power there where he had no real backup. he was to far away from his home territory that it did not make sense that he was as good as he was.
@@rampage3337 well he did have some sort of backup, he controlled sabini`s men and got some help from alfie solomons, but yeah he should have brought a lot of backup for he has no territory to fall back to except for sabini`s place.

Very true its nice to see that things that take place in Birmingham or UK in general have an effect on other countries when it comes to crime world
Luca came with 12 twelve men. Only 5 died.
If its any other show, those 12 men would die easily in either 1 episode or 2.
Peaky Blinders is definitely more realistic when it comes to dealing with strength in numbers.

@@matletico But this show is - you are watching it and following it from the perspective of Shelby family, they are protagonists and anti-heroes. Every show, film, book, what ever needs a protagonist - the one you follow in the story and whom the story is about. That's what protagonist means.
So yeah, pretty much every movie/show has to be from the perspective of or focused on a protagonist. By definition.
That protagonist can then fit any number of archetypes, hero, anti-hero, something different entirely. But you MUST have a protagonist, and they ARE defined.
Shelby family play the role of an anti-hero, your standard "criminal with a code of honor" crap. And to them, Luca is a villain, their opponent. Just like in earlier season it was the agent of the crown.

I think Mosley and facism are good final villains for Tommy. But, I think Luca is the perfect villain for Tommy and my personal favorite. Everything about him was so well done. He got John and Grace killed and made Polly think about betraying Tommy giving him one of the biggest impacts in the show.

The good thing is that Luca Changretta had the opportunity to assassinate the Peaky Blinders several times but he did not do it and he was always true to his word. He is a great character, I regret his death, he had to face everyone alone. Adrien Nicholas Brody is a good actor, he fit the character very well

well the peaky blinders could have killed him on multiple occasions to. the only reason Luca survived for that long was because Arthur was the oldest brother and the one who was tasked with delivering that final blow.
If Luca did not fight the vendetta with honor, he would have won. But then he wouldn't have been Luca

Its crazy to me that every family that pops up in the show could easily have their own spin off. Alfie, Luca, Aberama, I would easily watch every one of those spin offs.

We only root against him cause he’s against our protagonist. Dude was a dope antagonist with respectable and understandable motivation for what he did.

This series is magnificient. Each character carries deep and multiple and emotional layers. For some people tis series just a ruthless Shelby family's documentary, for some people this series just a misogynist and no sense. But for me, this masterpiece gives us deep exciting and heartbreaking motivational lessons. But, you need to watch carefully to see..
What I love about Luca’s Character is that he really isn’t a Villain at all. There is nothing he does thats “evil” enough it separates him from Tommy, he really is no worse than Tommy and if anything he’s actually equally honorable as Tommy as we see him agree with Tommy to keep Civilians and Children out of the War. And let’s be real, Tommy would’ve done the exact same thing in his position. If the show were told from Luca’s POV instead of the Shelby’s, he could easily be considered the Protagonist of this story.

It’s a shame tommy didn’t play with honor and called up Al Capone. I think tommy had more to lose so he called Al as an act of fear.

You don't talk about Honor with a Gypsy, they don't understand it, Luca's actor was amazing and performed on highest level but Luca's script was weak just to make Picky Blinder's looks cool... if Luca was actually real life new york mob associate he would have never talked about Honor with someone like Tommy

Luca Changretta is definitely my favourite villain in the series. I love every season but there's something about the amount of power the blinders have in season 4 and the conflict during this vendetta that is just perfect. I wish they were able to film the 7th season and see the series off properly but nonetheless this was one of the best shows I've seen in some time.

I like this show's devotion to getting the very best actors. Tom Hardy at his best, Adrien Brody who we don't see enough of. Good thing they didn't go with Jason Statham for Tommy like they were originally considering.
It's after this season it became crystal clear who the real villains are. Hopefully peaky blinders gonna get what they deserve by the end of the upcoming movie, it would be a shame to leave them alive, they should get what they deserve

What I love about Luca Changretta was he may have been a villain but all of his actions were out of love. He set his mind to Tommy Shelby and did this vendetta through honor and respect. You could feel that his feelings were almost real even through the acting. I loved this show, but every time I rewatch this season, a chunk of me wanted to see Luca get his revenge. And continue from where Tommy left his business off.
