I camped here a year ago today. The trail was my favorite part, as I walked it by myself without my parents there to yell at me and got to enjoy the amazing scenery
Thank you so much for this video. We are making our trip this weekend. This video was so helpful, we are first time campers. I just subb'd ! You are awesome!!!!!
We are so happy to hear that this helped you! You couldn’t pick a better campground for your first experience. Very excited for you! Have fun! Thanks for subscribing!!!
I just found this site, I watch a lot of your videos. This does look like nice campground. That is amazing to see your first cow Elk. My first Elk cow or bull was 11 yrs ago (2013) up in payson, I have them in my backyard forest all the time, amazing size.

My family and I love Mather campgrounds and stay there often. Great way to unwind from the day to day hustle and bustle of the city. Lots of fun, and it is very dark at night. Biking can also be a lot of fun too. Oh so many memories. Now a word about your video - Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Absolutely loved how you allowed the quiet for the viewer to enjoy the deer roaming through. (Another thing one will always see if you stay at Mather) You do a great job explaining and covering questions the viewer might be thinking or what you think the viewer might need/want to know. That said, looking forward to your North-rim video, been a while since I‘ve made it over to that side of the canyon. Really, really enjoy your channel and am always glad to find the notice that another video has been posted. Thanks a lot from a fan in Phoenix.
Wow! Thanks for all the awesome feedback! It means a lot to us! We are extremely happy you are enjoying our videos. Yeah, Mather campground has been a great place to escape the grind from time to time over the years, and the Grand Canyon is always spectacular no matter how many times we see it. Looking forward to the first trip to the North Rim here really soon!
Very good and informative video sir, we sent this to our extended family group chat and it gave everybody a visual ideal and an ease of expectations, thank you :)

No, you do not need a National Park pass to enter the Grand Canyon - those are merely cost savings over time if you visit a lot of parks. The normal entry fee into the park does not cover camping and visa versa.
Great video, sir! May i ask, what is the ideal time of the year to visit this beautiful campground? I just booked 3 nights for first week of June, taking my three children and myself. Thank you 🙏
Usually spring and fall are good times to camp there as the temperatures are reasonable and more comfortable. Typically, in summer it can get a bit warm and crowd levels are higher. June shouldn't be the peak of heat though.
Thank you so much for the Best description with video to back it up. My question is what was the weather temperatures were like both days and nights while tent camping?
