Don’t dare let Phillip get away from Lalande! He is utterly charming! It’s so nice to see the sophistication and sparkle in such a young man. His family must miss him terribly but we are all very fortunate he found his way to the chateau to join with the rest of this lovely group of people.
I think we all agree the LaLanders are amazing people. But I am also impressed by the people who send gifts and the thoughtfulness that is put into them. The letter and magazines for Phillip about the player pianos is just one example of how the fans see/hear something and send a very personalized gift. This is why so many of us get joy from the community. I feel silly when I talk about LaLande like it is a place I have actually visited or that the people are my friends, but we have come to know each of you (a bit) and you make us feel like we are part of the community. That is the gift you give back to us. There is so much sad, mean and ugly in this world, I try to make a point to search out the good and hopeful. LaLande is the epitome of good and hopeful. I find myself looking forward to each new installment. It makes me happy to see everyone getting along even though they are all so different. I really love when the entire group goes to the thrift shops. I love the glamorous and lovely dresses. It has changed the way I dress now and if I like something outrageous I wear it, live like you were meant to and dress “way out loud “.

Anyone would say a video of people opening and exclaiming over an embarrassing abundance of gifts from mostly total strangers is a nonstarter, very bad idea yet here I sit laughing out loud, totally engaged as everyone picks out their favorite wine glass charm, enjoying the beauty and creativity of all the thoughtful gifts from around the world, and feeling a connection to the LeLanders and all your followers that I could never explain. You create a sort of magic with every video, a place of simple but beautiful pleasures and companionship many of us are missing in our lives due to the pandemic and just the vagaries of life. This is real magic, real joy.
I have a pianola handed down to me from my great grandmother. I learnt to play on it as a child. A year ago I had it restored. French polished and all and it sounds wonderful. I have many many old rolls that you can sing along too. They are so much fun to play.

My brother has ....and I am not exaggerating.....18 fully decorated Christmas trees in his home every Christmas. I think Lalonde is well on its way to at 5 Christmas trees or more!!! My Covid hobby has been making cocktails so I am happy that Peacocktail corner and Peacocktail tree is getting bigger and better.
You can make S’mores in the oven in the winter or you can roast the marshmallows in the fireplace. I take the big marshmallows and cut a cross in the top, pull it open, put some chocolate chips or chunks of cut up chocolate and pop them in the oven until golden brown and puffy. I let it cool for a little so the outside forms a crust and then they are sooooo good but very rich so I can only eat two at most. Lots of lovely gifts again, it’s truly amazing what people send from the goodness of their hearts. The tiaras are truly a work of art, I’m blown away she makes them. Wow🥰🙋🏼

Broke up with boyfriend the Wednesday before valentines day. didn't want to take advantage by leading him on. Currently laying on the couch in the family home watching this
Philip is stunning in his waistcoat and jacket embellished with that stunning pine bough brooch encrusted in pearls...he has the innate skill of being a colourist sensing what hues work well with his complexion. Selmar looks so handsome in his red shoes and tie...I love the inner glow which is reflected upon his face! What a nice soul. Actually, the entire LaLande household are charming and lovely people!
You silly people, --sorry, I got caught up in the moment-- s'mores can be made 'marshmallows ' over an open fire, gas stove, fireplace (I believe you did this), or if you are lucky enough to have decent weather, unlike our minus 25 farenheit degrees, a wonderful campfire! I like making mine with graham crackers, roasted marshmallows and lemon curd (think lemon meringue). So much fun. I need to add, my husband and I have been self isolating (not from each other) since mid February of 2020, I think we have cabin fever. Finally, who doesn't like sausage rolls! Farmland Minnesota.

My brother has ....and I am not exaggerating.....18 fully decorated Christmas trees in his home every Christmas. I think Lalonde is well on its way to at 5 Christmas trees or more!!! My Covid hobby has been making cocktails so I am happy that Peacocktail corner and Peacocktail tree is getting bigger and better.

You can make S’mores in the oven in the winter or you can roast the marshmallows in the fireplace. I take the big marshmallows and cut a cross in the top, pull it open, put some chocolate chips or chunks of cut up chocolate and pop them in the oven until golden brown and puffy. I let it cool for a little so the outside forms a crust and then they are sooooo good but very rich so I can only eat two at most. Lots of lovely gifts again, it’s truly amazing what people send from the goodness of their hearts. The tiaras are truly a work of art, I’m blown away she makes them. Wow🥰🙋🏼

Philip is stunning in his waistcoat and jacket embellished with that stunning pine bough brooch encrusted in pearls...he has the innate skill of being a colourist sensing what hues work well with his complexion. Selmar looks so handsome in his red shoes and tie...I love the inner glow which is reflected upon his face! What a nice soul. Actually, the entire LaLande household are charming and lovely people!

You silly people, --sorry, I got caught up in the moment-- s'mores can be made 'marshmallows ' over an open fire, gas stove, fireplace (I believe you did this), or if you are lucky enough to have decent weather, unlike our minus 25 farenheit degrees, a wonderful campfire! I like making mine with graham crackers, roasted marshmallows and lemon curd (think lemon meringue). So much fun. I need to add, my husband and I have been self isolating (not from each other) since mid February of 2020, I think we have cabin fever. Finally, who doesn't like sausage rolls! Farmland Minnesota.
