Luigi following Mario no matter what, (without player input) as well as him not being controlled by the B button in combat really threw me off. I can see why it upset some people. But overall, I think the changes they made to Luigi give him so much personality and presence, and make the overworld puzzle solving just that much more interesting. I think the best thing to do is treat this game as more of a reboot, rather than a new entry, because this isn’t really alphadreams work, but rather a new dev team that poured their blood, sweat, and tears into making an experience that was both Mario and Luigi, as well as a brand new experience. And honestly, after shifting my mindset to this, I’ve been having a blast, they really did an amazing job, and this is such a phenomenal game. I really hope this isn’t a one time thing.
I more so meant to take into account this isn’t made by the same people, so don’t expect it to be the same game. It just made me appreciate it a whole lot more.

He helped with the music for the Explorers games of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Also at 5:45, yeah they unfortunately decided to follow the Paper Jam route with level ups, so no boosting bonus stats.

Here's a tip from the future for an achievement involving having to fight 300 times with no equipment*. 1: Both bros count so it's more like 150. And the most important tip 2: hammers aren't mentioned in the achievement conditionns so you can use them and still count.

Just fyi because you were wondering why the stats were so varied between bros they actually changed it in this game probably in replacement of the stat vonus thing from past games mario and luigi just have particular stats that grow more for them in particular the game tells you i think on first level up but its easy to miss If i remember right and take this with a grain of salt Mario has higher stats in Power BP and Speed While luigi had better stats in Health Defense and stache hence why his stache is higher than marios out the gate figuref id just clarify

Enemies DO scale depending on which island you pick first, though not on all islands. a big difference you may not have noticed is the fact that you pretty much picked who you'll have as your crafter. I wanted maykit but had a brainfart and did the opposite. Both give great equipment tho, so up to the player

7:08 that sound effect (or something STRIKINGLY similar) is also used in Splatoon of all places. There's a mode where you fight fish people to collect their eggs, and that sound is used for putting the eggs in your basket
Enemies DO scale depending on which island you pick first, though not on all islands. a big difference you may not have noticed is the fact that you pretty much picked who you'll have as your crafter. I wanted maykit but had a brainfart and did the opposite. Both give great equipment tho, so up to the player
