I found the perfect reed and embouchure setup for playing Zoot Sims style blues. Then I found a Dex Gorden album called Ballads. There on the cover was Dex playing the very horn model I have. I have a Conn 10 m 1960. Have you tried Hartmann Fiberreeds? I've not tried Leger's yet. I like the Carbon Classic and the Hemp.

Would you say that the B bop scale helps you swing ? Thanks for this one Scott. I knew that this scale had eight tones but I did not know their order.
Yeah, it adds some chromaticism which really smooths out the line.
