- I felt horrible about starting this project and never continuing it. So, not only am I continuing the project...I'm starting the whole thing over again! Now that I'm twice as knowledgeable as a producer than I was back when I started the original project, it only seemed like a good idea to start again from scratch. So I'm starting here with Sky Tower again! And hopefully, I'll be making a lot more of these in the future, possibly even getting to every song from the game!

Finally.
Finally, I got to play Red Rescue Team on my phone.
I am a female Cubone with a Cyndaquil as a partner. "Team Crossfire"
Now surely many of you guys who read my post below said it was not too late to play the game. I must thank you for that because now I got to experience the joy of the original PMD.
I will admit that the storyline is not as good as PMD2, but the soundtrack here is amazing. Remember how I mentioned while traveling through Blizzard Island. it played four songs from PMD1? (Including This theme). So, when I finally got in this dungeon, I was so excited to hear it myself.
And yes, I finally got to experience the pain of those Areodactyl. Agility and Wing Attack keep knocking me out.
I confess it, Sky Tower was hell compared to Temporal Tower when it came to the dungeon itself. Primal Dialga is still harder to beat than Rayquaza still.
The ending made me so emotional too.
Seriously guys, thank you. I can now enjoy this remastered track much, much more.

I feel bad that you had to listen to the red rescue team version of the sky tower theme and not the blue rescue team version. The red rescue team version sounds horrible compared to the blue rescue team version of the theme.

Holy shit, this is probably the best sky tower remix out there. This track is the definition of beauty.
Out of the several remixes of this godly theme. I feel that this one captures the feel of the original theme perfectly. So this is the perfect remix of what is, in my opinion, the most amazing song to ever come from a video game.

Just heard the new remake song... I'm a keep it 100 with y'all... This one is miles better still than the remade song. Don't get me wrong, I love the new Sky Tower remake, but as someone who appreciates the bass, the mids and the trebles all masterfully mixed in together, the precision of the drums to the beat and the use of synth pads blended in together, not to mention the raw emotional feel of the violins and flutes in this remix, there's just no comparison. In my personal opinion, this is the definitive remix for the modern times hands down.

The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series has been the highlight of my life for video games. The story, unbeatable. The game play, phenomenal. The music though... it has been in my heart for a very long time. The music that played on the final boss, and the music at all those emotional times... no matter how good of a game I play today, it cannot compare to what I felt when I first played this. But you... you just made my life that much more complete with this. The way you remastered my favourite music and made it that much more legendary... Kudos to you, my friend. I highly look forward to your completion of this project!

Man. I remember playing this level at an early age and being mesmerized at the thought of a world in the clouds. The music and the diverse Pokémon really helped create that feeling of wonder. Exquisite.
I didn't even care if I kept losing because the music itself just gives you enough hope that you'll make it to the top. Regardless of how unfair the enemies can be in this dungeon, it boosts your morale for both the 1st and 2nd half before reaching the boss

Out of all the Mystery Dungeon songs that exist, the ones, any one of them that have Bells as instruments just bring a tear to my eye...

I NEVER PLAYED PMD1, only PMD2's Explorers of Sky (had it since 2009, irresponsible friend lost it in 2013) Last week another friend gave me his Explorers of Time. I went through Blizzard Island (dungeon theme is Mt. Freeze, Sky Tower, Mt. Thunder, and Thunderwave Cave together.) I love the theme.
Then If found this. Sky Tower is my most favorite Dungeon Theme tied with Temporal Spire.
When PMD first came out, I was around 7. I got EOS at 10. EOT last week... 16.
I wish I played BRT...

If it weren't for the fact that I was broke (and had no PayPal), I'd support you, man. As a PMD fan myself (so far, they're the only known video game that has ever made me cry... And mind you, I've played games like Undertale), as well as a man of musical taste, I love hearing remixes and remastered versions like these...
(And I know tramboneophone99 said almost the exact same thing... I'm just saying it as well, because that's exactly how I feel about this!)

Listening to this more, I think calling it good is an understatement. This remix is beautiful.
Basically played every PMD game besides Darkness and Sky I lost my explorers of time along time ago 8 years ago I would say I now regret as I rebought the second game but a different version which would be darkness , I recently played DX and Blue Rescue Team and originally rebought blue Rescue Team as well after many years , I got to say this theme and PMD2’s Blizzard Island made me regret losing these wonderful games as a kid but I’m now in my early 20’s and playing through them again and about to replay Mystery Dungeon 2 as someone who has played all the games basically in the original series and mystery dungeon growing up I’ve got to say mystery dungeon maybe better than the canonical main series in its own way even though they aren’t quite the same , listening to this theme over on repeat the last month and a half has helped me rediscover how great this series was and still is today and I hope to recollect every game in the series I’m missing now

If I may offer some criticism (even though it’s 7 years late), maybe pull the snare back or out altogether. I think of these tracks as offering room in your mind to contemplate and the snare seems to pop a little too much and kinda feels out of place. Or perhaps, take it out of certain parts, then when it’s actually there on beats 2 and 4 it could add that much more energy to more intense parts of the song!
