I doubted Bobby's authenticity in the first few episodes and then the church episode happened and I immediately fell in love with who he is at his core. As a lesbian that had most churches in my area refuse me as a person, it hit home for me. I love and respect Bobby so much.
Same. Also a lesbian and was f'ed up by the church. Love Bobby so much. That episode was unbelievable. As soon as Grace said "church episode", I started crying. Triggered!

Wow!! I'm a pastor, and I wasn't offended by Bobby's actions because I know how harmful the church has been to millions of LGBTQIA+ people. Wish I could've been there to talk to David about this, because I personally don't mind people taking breaks, especially when the church has been horrible to them.

This is one of my favorite interviews I've ever seen with any of the fab five! I think Bobby especially has such an interesting background, so much life experience and a cracking sense of humor that doesn't get to shine through as much on the show or in 5-minute-group-interviews, so this was genuinely fascinating and hilarious to watch! I also loved how you two had so much in common, it made for such a funny, flowing conversation. Great stuff, thanks so much for making this happen!
The best part about Not Too Deep is the built in drinking game!! So make a delicious cocktail, rewatch this *dramatic eye roll*, and drink every time Bobby is triggered!

So I feel like shit today, I woke up just blah, for no reason. But hearing grace’s voice and thinking about her and her goose and her tall Floridian I’m just so happy for her. Then I went to ig and looked at mame’s story and the people from the vf stories. These lovely people are in the world and they are all so funny and beautiful and it really helps.

I started screaming when I saw this episode release. I’ve been watching your videos and listening to the podcasts for years, and I not only love Queer Eye too but Bobby is literally everything I am and want to be. We have so much in common (both adopted, both have had tricky relationships with religion, both are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, etc.) and design is also something I have always loved and want to move to California and do as my career. I am so inspired by both of you, I’ve listened to this podcast three times over today already just trying to soak every single detail in. And I really did need a boost today, so thank you for that as well. Love you both!

... given all the things I've learned by watching "NotTooDeep" over the past umpty-umpt months ... my biggest takeaway is the discussions tend to flow to the almost 'metaphysical ' about current social media matters & how to navigate same in order to maintain relevance in an incredibly fleeting environment ... all i can say, Gracie is ... I worked customer service here in California for about 8 years and the sincerity thing freaking customers out is true. Anytime East coast and European customers came in or called in to where I worked they ALWAYS initially thought we were being rude. I even had customers yell at me. After a couple years I learned how to talk to them to prep them for California customer service. Some of the older experienced travelers from the East and Europe liked to mention how nice it was to not be treated like shit,hurried or straight up ignored.
Heads up to those inexperienced with West Coast treatment. We are very chill and we really do want to help but if you want to be left alone or need us to hurry up just let us know.
