The rest of the world watch TV in their languages (for example in spain, italy,...). And it's better to watch the same film with other voices than to watch a remake with other actors and the same dialogue!!! You can take LOL! for example. The original comes from France and is much better than the american remake. And it's very exhausting to read while you watch a film. You don't keep so much in mind from the film. It's easy for you to say something like this cause englisch is your mother tongue.
Subtitles? Why? We can translate it. This is for people who can't speak english. Well, I prefer the original sound. But not everyone does. A show like TBBT is very hard to understand for people who don't speak english fluently. Sometimes it's even hard to understand in german and I am german. We are Nazis? What are you? You're mad because we dubb the shows? That's just pathetic.
You do know that there are people in the world our ther speaking German better than English? Consequently from there ppls point of view Sheldons use of language might be understood quite well...
