I’m a absolute newby to racing and trying to wrap my head around calling tacks. It seems that you are suggesting sailing closer to the wind, say 35 degrees instead of 45 degrees in order to stay inside the diamond. Is my understanding correct or are you suggesting shorter legs and tacking more often?
