- Many factors have caused GD Content Creators to consider switching from Geometry Dash to something else. In this video I'll be examining five examples of these TH-camrs and determining how successful they were in branching out.

I have praised zylenox as probably the most unique player and creator in the game for a long time. I will admit I was a little saddened by his dissension to leave GD but ayy can't blame him he's done so much in the game to the point where he just decided to branch out and gradually leave GD and you know Im glad he did because as a whole his content got way better and a lot more interesting.
But I will always remember his GD levels for being the most fun and unique levels in the game just in general CHANGE MY MIND.

I've been a part of the MC speedrunning community for like 2 years now, and of the GD community for over a year now, but in all that time I haven't realized that the Zylenox who made Triple Six and the Zylenox who tied the WR are the same person-

i was so happy to find put zylenox is not only doing ok but is absolutely THRIVING. Glad to see one of the greatest creators in gd is doing great on his other endeavors.

I don't think zylenox is replaceable, his style is in fact used by 2003devin bug zylenox's levels have a soul, when you see a Devin level you don't think that's a zylenox level and vice versa. They are different creators even tho they have similar styles, so i wouldn't say that devin is a replacement to zylenox
@@dreamon8201 Good point, although they are similar, their levels are not carbon copies of each other
@@dreamon8201 2003devin has it's own style and, personally, I enjoy it more, so yeah, they're quite different if you think about it

i was a big fan of zylenox right around when he started doing minecraft, and i'm perfectly fine with him leaving gd and now i'm happy that he gets the recognition he deserves, even if it's from a whole different community now

I left GD about half a year ago I think, I never even knew that sandstorm played GD, I just knew him as the best brawlhalla player, but also after hearing Eric leave GD I wouldn't be suprised to see Aeon, or even Spaceuk leaving the game (maybe spaceuk is a bit of an exaggeration, but my point is that the game is very frustrating, and I'm really not sulrised seeing people leave the community, as it's much easier to leave the game, than to spend 10k+ attempts on a level)

I remember when spaceuk deleted his channel and said he was quitting GD to become an osu player LMAO, but after he got exposed it makes a lot more sense why he did that now
space hasn't left the game yet, I remember him making a 2nd account where he started rebeating all his cheated extremes starting from the golden then tartarus(and yes he did show proof of being legit by showing hos game files, task manager, etc) but he decided to private all of the vids and said he would come back in like 1 or 2 years and upload all of his legit completions as onej

I quit gd for like 5 years in early 2.1 and got into mcsr where I discovered zylenox, I think I missed his entire gd career but I've been following his mc content from the start, finding out that he was one of the most unique and popular creators in the game was crazy

@@rootbeerfloathaspop3301 he did a “internet cleanse”, he deleted all social media and basically stopped interacting eith people on the internet. He recently came back and made a series of tweets saying he was okay but wont fully come back.
From my research, I think it had something ti do with a mental illness.

While they did quit GD, the type of person I was going for here was a TH-camr who tried to do something besides GD, not quit TH-cam altogether
