Drama is a huge component of the Geometry Dash community. Despite the arguments and situations that constantly seem arising, its something that helps keep individuals engaged in the inner workings of the community and keep us passionate about our beliefs. Stemming from Sea1997’s video on every drama in 2.1 from July, 2018 (you can check that out here - • EVERY GD DRAMA IN 2.1 , I decided I would make this video, which picks up where he left off and details all the dramas that he missed, from July 2018 to November of 2020, when I released this. I expect this to become outdated quite soon, so dont comment about dramas that occurred beyond the date of the videos publishing, please! Thank you, I hope you enjoy!
Sorry about the wait on this one, its definitely my biggest video and itll probably stay that way for along time, it was incredibly difficult to get out in the limited time I had to work on it with school and other things. I know I pushed this back a week from when I was meant to upload it, but I hope you guys can understand, and I hope you enjoy it nonetheless! FYI about the "Alias content" drama - it sparked due to the GD community members on Twitter seeing me as someone disreputable due to being misinformed about me, and me being overly defensive when it comes to drama. There are a total of about 6 videos on my TH-cam channel that aren't based on my authentic idea (and even then original creators are always asked and credited properly), but even such low amount can be enough to introduce my content as stolen to someone uninformed about my channel. After seeing how Sireu7amt took it out of context on such degree I went all defensive; fortunately, the drama ended, however it can be easily reignited if the community doesn't bother checking whether I credited the original creator or not.
I tell you one thing, this is a peculiar community
It's what expected in most larger communities. A simple mistake or a small idea against a creator can instantly kick Twitter cancel culture into overdrive

I think this should get another part by mid-late 2022. Since this video has come out, there have been some pretty notable events in this community. The SWI situation, the Acheron leaking situation, Vernam's threats to JAGDP, the GHS situation, etc. These events are too crazy to not be included in a sequel to this video.

52:56, Vernam came out and made an apology last month that was really well made imo. There's a number of other things that you missed with some of these situations but I'll edit them into this comment later when I have time.
This is what norkbork missed here:
1) The video, which was spread in twitter by MindCap (and then by others) and before was published on Vernam's channel, was taken from VK group called "КБ" and has nothing in common with Vernam at all. Also it was published on VK at the 19th of July, when Vernam published it at the beginning of August. But this proof has been ignored by all people in twitter. However if this proof was noticed by those, who hate Vernam, they still didn't care about it and found lots of excuses. 2) When all drama ended, no one except Walroose confessed about spreading fakes. The vast majority of popularities also ignored this.

Now that 2.1 is almost over, i’m imagining a remake of this video that covers all of sea’s events, all of the events in this video, and all of the ones that happened after this video. Shame I have no skill in making videos of my own, otherwise I’d try and do that.
I think I was a part of the Geometry Dash Discord server for not even a day before leaving. It is, without a doubt, one of the most toxic and unfair servers I've ever been on
Crazen also nerfed most of his top completions, so he wasn’t on equal grounds with players like nswish and swiborg
Even if Crazen wasn't a kid toucher i would still dislike him a lot given how he tried to verify levels without permission

however here’s a few things i personally think may have been worth noting:
-mulpan’s involvement in the save as drama
-rob buck’s attempt to start confusion by mysteriously changing his username to his account ID (649868) and changing all his levels’ songs to RIDE 01 which has the song ID 649868
oh also one time the anathema discord invite was leaked and several people joined it (not that major but it was kinda funny, I was there when it happened)
oh also there was aeon’s channel getting hacked, and then after he got it back it got temporarily terminated soon after
this community cant go a month without drama huh
also this video is extremely sweet, you kept those dramas sweet and short and to the point. nice job

about the vernam situation, the footage of him attacking trans people verbally in public was in fact, not him and it was just a video that he wanted to show his friends. yeah i decided to skip out on that one on purpose i didn’t really think it was as big of a deal as the lime/npesta situation and i didn’t want to mention both since they were so similar, but i guess i could’ve included it. i also finished the script a while before the drama happened and i really didn’t want to go back and keep adding new dramas so i guess it was kinda laziness too ...

I've been think about creating a document of a timeline of the history of GD its self and events community. I think preserving these situations on a time line would be really interesting to be able to look back on and see how they have effected the community today. I also think it could be useful for new players who don't understand certain references or want to learn more about the community in general.

Something you could have mentioned when talking about the #freenpesta and #freeriot movements was that nswish also got his ads removed and this is the main reason he hasn't uploaded anything gd realated latley. on a different note, you forgot the situation in which AeonAir was also hacked around the same time as dorami, and a month later his account was briefly terminated too. other than that, you included more than i could remember :)
Riot handled the Tartarus situation literally in the worst way possible. He never did anything he promised to do to investigate all that situation, kept the level unrated, made fun of Dolphy on streams and did not even apologize at the end. That's not how a person with such fanbase should act, it's totally inappropriate.
Actually when dolphy verified tartarus, it wasnt rated. Rob was told to hold off on the rating until dolphy was proven legit or a hacker. The day mullsy beat it was when it mullsys version was rated, which is the day endlevel did that exposing stream. But then the demon list changed their mind and thats when mullsy got his version unrated and dolphys version rated. Anyways, this is a great video so far, exciting to remember everything that happened these past 3 years.

Yo nice job on this video, I can see that there’s insane amounts of dedication and effort put it to it. You put dramas that I had never ever heard of and the video was just really interesting to watch. If I could add any thing, I would probably add the Danzmen hacking situation and the Mulpan save as situation as I think they were pretty big at the time imo. This is because I would see these situations all over TH-cam and idk about Twitter (I don’t use Twitter) and to me they seemed pretty big. Plus the pulsar situation, the lake iverson situation, and the Aeon air hacking situation would also be good to add.

I've heard of BrutalSword, not because he beat Cold Sweat, but because I watched a few of his Plasma Pulse Finale streams a few months ago, didn't know he improved so much since then.
59:39 In the Dorami TH-cam channel hacking situation, Dorami likely lost his channel to an exploit in TH-cam’s 2 Factor Authentication via SMS text called “Sim-Swapping”. Phone service providers allow their costumers to change the phone number of their SIM card, so if someone had Dorami’s phone number, they could trick TH-cam’s 2FA system into thinking they’re actually Dorami. The same thing happened to a decently large tech news channel named “Front Page Tech”. I’m not entirely sure if TH-cam has fixed this exploit.

Enjoyed the video, I liked it since I used to watch Sea1997's old gnews videos but ever since he dropped gd entirely I didn't really have many ways to know about things around the community
One small thing to point out: RiverCiver's twitter never got suspended. River just deactivated it.

I am looking back at this video and I must say, the anime drama was really actually weird, since I've been a victim of it even though having no idea it was happening, though I wasn't that well known, 3 days after Cirtrax got his account suspended, I got my account permanently deleted. I surely didn't know why after I found out about the drama. I wasn't and I'm still not a big fan of dramas and me being annihilated from Twitter was a shocking and weird site to see. This video helped me find out wth happened to start this drama, though it was indeed very unnecessary from the GD community. Thx for the info norkbork, I appreciate that

I know a controversy (it happened somewhere in 2022 i know) where a gd creator named Cirtrax/Avery moved into fnf and then decided to be another Amoraltra, it sucks because he made a collab level called Fire Spire and that was my favorite level
