Why do everyone thinks the shadow ship is the guardian ? It clearly not looks like it, and as the intrepid and guardian are the one not released, why didn’t they put the intrepid too. For me it does have the same shape with the 4 legs, but this one has landing gear compared to Mirai fury that is hovering (the guardian is just a big fury) and the 4 arms looks much more organic. On the terrapin medivac, I guess it will lose the radar capabilities, as the medbed replaces the scanning station, so don’t expect incredible scanning from it

@@vellocx Here's what I think: As the Perseus incorporates some assets from the already finished but not yet released Polaris, it makes perfect sense that the Perseus was prioritized. Especially as both, Perseus and Polaris, are military ships. The Galaxy will most likely use some of the assets used in the Polaris, but then again there is the problem with the modularity feature. This feature must first be fully implemented in the game, the modules must also be developed and finalised released (preferably) at the same time as the Galaxy. The Perseus isn't as complex as the Galaxy (due to it's modularity) so it is easier to build and release it first.
The two turrets with 2xS7 guns are manned, the others two are unmanned. It would be perfect to have the full crew on board, pilot, upper gunner, lower gunner, engineer and one for the unmanned ones (depending if those can be operated from one seat). But I think a crew of three can work quite well, too.
I would like to point out wording used by CIG here when they showed this so people don't get their hopes too high. They said they would be "working on" the ships here in the next 12 months. They didn't say they would come out. They have been working on some other ships for years.... I hope no one actually expects the Pioneer or the BLD next year or base building for that matter. Now that they have a concept of base building, I expect them to take until 2026 before they give it to us. Hopefully no later.

Persius needs a minimum of three. Otherwise your flying it as a solo yhe same way you would fly a hammerhead solo. The two main turrets are the main reason to bring out the Persius in the first place. Otherwise its just an oversized hog to fly.

Time will tell for sure! 07
It is at least one of a straight forward design. Having npc gunners could do some part of the job. Having no engineer for repairs or swapping cannon ammo etc mid fight will definetly be a loss. But it was discussed over a year ago on spectrum. If you think fleet fights, what would be more effective. One perseus with full crew, or like three perues with npc gunners. In the long run surely the one perseus. But alpha dmg and as bullet sponge the three perseus will just shine and bring a lot more weight to the battle.
The medical terrapin looks fun but the apollo with its T1, T2, or T3 combo med beds has me the most excited. I also did not know the Persueus is a 1-2 player ship and I am really interested in that ship as well, if it has a med bed. I do not want to go to stations or cities anymore I just want to go out in my ship and stay out until I have to resupply with food/water and fuel.

Those old ships are massive and would take a lot of time and resources.. there funding comes from ship sales and showing that there creating an "actual" game they'll probably start working on them much later when they're in a more comfortable position they still have to pays 100+ employee salaries, developing isn't cheap i understand what you're upset about and I get it but you bought in to a concept that's ever changing with that said if you hold on to those ships I bet in 10 years or more they'll be super rare
Medical is playing a massive part as we speak and we know that Death of a spaceman is approaching ever so rapidly, well like they stated in the past that we may have dynamic server meshing very early as server counts will be high i think people have proven to be able to transport people in any vessel, why not the Polaris and others so it could be possible of seeing transport ships soon but to what extent i guess the best we can do is wait right

I am also worried about engineering with all these large ships. Why is engineering implemented before blades and npc techs. The polaris is going to be a nightmare for single players. Most people want to fly their own ships. I forsee alot of annoyed people in the near future

You uave control of the missles and the 2s3 turrets are going to be automated . The 2s7 (I think) will be remotes for the co pilot or manned.
