- Are you PCSing to Germany? Did you just get here? What is it actually like to PCS to Germany and live here as an American? This video will give you a unique perspective on what its like to actually be stationed here and live in the USAG Bavaria Grafenwöhr community. I interviewed an American family who’s been living in Germany for 16 years! As they get ready to PCS out of Germany, I thought it might be valuable to hear their real life examples of family life, raising kids, spouse careers, and travel.

What an informative video and what a wonderful and truly likable family. Even though we are military, hearing their story gives me hope to be able to have a lucrative career as a spouse.

Great video Dan. It was partly because of your earlier video about DODEA that I decided to get my masters degree in teaching (which I’m currently doing right now through ASU) so that I can get back to Europe. I’ll have my degree next August and have already started work on my DODEA application!

Wow Wow Wow! This has been the most informative video I have seen so far. Sure there are many Military family PCS videos, but as a Future DOD employee (waiting on my orders due to COVID) I have so many questions about moving to Europe . Things are really different when you live there as a Military family than a Civilian. Thank You for this wonderful Video DTV!
