When I downsized from the 110 to the Freelander I wanted everything removable and decided to go for the 400 Enginestar powerstation I used it for my NC500 trip earlier in the year 10 days powering fridge and lights at night camps and charged it up driving each day.
I've used it for weekends at shows and it just about survives 36 hours so I bought a solar panel but haven't used it yet.
Great bit of kit and I don't have to lug 2 x 110 amp hr batteries down to Tesco and back 40 odd weeks of the year.
It's amazing how this tech has come on in the last few years making 12v so simple. I think it has the potential replace the traditional set ups in most cases. How are you getting on with the new vehicle??
@@JKoverland I originally got the Freelander as a stop gap while I looked for something else but after spending 10 days away in it in Scotland in May I've sort of decided to keep it. I'm off to France in it later today for a month so see how we go.
