Beautiful places... 💚
Great video guys.
Makes me want to pop down to Portugal and follow your tyre tracks!!
Thank you!!
😂👍
You got to do it 😁👍
Phew. Hard work. Those poor trucks sure did get a work-out, and I'm surprised the Land Rover didn't break down after all that hammering. I've owned both trucks, so give me the Mitsubishi any day. Keep up with the adventure. Jack. Got me a rack from an outfit in Los Angles. Should be arriving very soon. Dave
They got a work out alright 😁 we must be nice to the Land Rover Dave 😂😂 I really look forward to seeing a photo of your Montero with all the new gear please 🙂
That looks like so much fun, especially with friends!
Yeah!! So much fun! Best shared with mates 👌
Great routs love the sand diff lockers would make all the difference
Such good driving! Locker is on the wish list 👌😁
Like Andrew St Pierre White and his wife Gwen in early 80s :D But in white Pajero not RRC. Btw Basic air pressure on sand is 15psi, if it soft and you climb just air down to the 10psi but, air up uphill. Just air down to 10psi and awoid sharp turning it build sand wall on front of o tire. You got wide tires not very well suited for sand travels. Thing about changing rims on R16 and purchase 235/85r16 rubber. It will work a lot better.
They had some epic adventures in the old RR 🙂 sand driving was fine for the trip it's only one section with a giant dune but only for fun to climb it.
Loving watching your adventures guys. I would drop your pressure straight to 12 or even lower on the long soft hills especially in the middle of the day with the heat👍. Great videos, love the Mitsubishi!
Thanks Karl! Yeah probably be fine maybe next time but we had to turn around just after that hill anyway so was just a bit of fun 😁
Just discovered your channel :) Nice tour, nice vids ! thumbs UP!
Fab up date guys and looks like you had awesome fun. Great to see the smiles and the fun you're having. Is that Molly squeaking or the roof rack ?? Fab lunch spot. That beach...OMG...looks amazing. Cheers guys 👍👍
We had so much fun mate it was incredible!! Hahah yes that is the roof rack touching the edge of the sunroof! So annoying but cant be bothered to take off and refit 😁 a spray of wd40 every now and again sorts it for a bit 😂😂😂
best episode yet. congratulations on fantastic content keep them coming.
Thanks bud! Will do 😉
Watching this, I definitely do not miss how under powered my old 110 was. Same for my '86 Pajero actually. Though, I still think the old Pajero has more character and charm than anything else ever made. Would be great to be able swap a modern engine and transmission in that thing.
Yeah I bet! 😂 the idea of a bmw 330d and bmw 6 speed auto is very appealing for the future 🤤
My dear Portugal!!
Dear to me ❤
Portugal. Looks. Amazing. Nice trucks too :0)
Yes it is!! 😁😁 hahaha yeah not half bad 😉
Awesome ride great video you guys 👌
Cheers Gary 😁🍻
very nice.
Thanks mate 😁
FOOD hahaha LOL, love your adventures guys! We really want to return to Portugal ;)
Food is a very important part of our travels 😁😁 look forward to see you here buddy 😉
... Luv the 'FOOD' bit 😁
Yeah!! Good stuff 😁✌
Done that exact same route a few years ago, from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Tróia. Question is the route still fully open, heard reports was closed most parts? Thanks
It is a truly great route! Unfortunately many parts are now closed and it is broken up 😫
Very nice Terrain - thank`s for share. Btw: Numberplates getting loose very quick - screw it. Best Regards, Alfred
Cheers Alfred 😁🍻 oh yes its staying up top from now on 😂
oh man that beach looks like paradise, are you guys staying down there much longer what are your plans over winter.
So good I can't even describe! Back for a bit up to Christmas but then back here again maybe January 🙌
For viewers who are unfamiliar with Portugal (and many are, judging by the comments):
This is one of the best and most available countries for off roading for those from N. Europe and the UK in particular. In the UK the opportunities to go off road are pathetic - the various LR magazines publish details of off road routes and usually each track is around 1 km long! I don't bother.
In Portugal there are many unsurfaced tracks of various degrees of difficulty some of which go to really interesting and wild locations.
The culture is that if you find a track it is generally available unless there are other indications (e.g. locked gates, "propriedade privada" signs etc.) Use your commonsense and you will be fine.
One must of course respect all the rules otherwise Portugal will go the way of other supposedly "developed" countries. Respect the environment; leave gates open or closed as you found them; stick to marked tracks; don't go too fast or make too much noise; take your rubbish with you; etc etc. If you stick to the rules and are courteous to people you meet along the way you will have a great time like JKoverland and you will be welcome too. I have been going there for some years and never had a problem when off-roading.
If you don't mind my asking, which country/part of the world are you currently in......
That place/route is EPIC!
Amazing hey!! Welcome to Portugal ❤
nice😬😬😬
ohhhhh sandy day ah😂
Sand sand glorious sand 😁😁
Turn the diesel pump up on it to get more power
I plan too 😀💪
@@JKoverland 1/8 of a turn will make a big difference. You can tell when it's to much you get black smoke 😂 💪
I guess sand a heavy rig like a Defender isn't a good combo...that Defender definitely struggled. The good ol Pajero though was impressive 🤘
Ahh we both struggled in places! The Defender did good and made it up the crazy hill climb! 😁
1:35 awesome
Thanks! 😁
😎👍💪💪
Defender tires are too wide.
That bloke looks just like Paul McCartney 🤔.
Paiyaa
Were are you driving? That is just awesome. Is that somewhere in spain?
Thanks!! This is Portugal ❤
Quais Espanha caralho?!
