the reason why dubs in most anime games are trash is because they usually don't have any video of the game in front of them, they are just given lines of the characters with context of the scene and they record at their home studios. It looks like there was huge effort at lining mouth movements to whats being said which is awesome

The no-tracking moves are intentional. They unable the ability to spam strong moves.
Instead, you are meant to use them when the enemy is unable to move such as in a rush combo or shocked by a disabling move. You could also use it when the enemy stamina is broken. 👍
Also the original had 2types of rush moves:
Either straight dash with super speed and short range, dragon fist, or chase like burters ultimate

24:04 The reason the rush attack missed was because Beerus was too low. In the BT games there were two types of rush attacks, ones that tracked and ones that would charge in a straight line. The Trunks ultimate is a rush attack that charges in a straight line from what it looks like and the problem with those is that when the other person is too low, the rush attack would miss. Basically those type of rush attacks have a limited angle in how much they can charge downward. So you have to use that rush attack when the opponent is at about eye level with your character.

Rush Attack that is not too fast but tracks the enemy and Rush Attack that goes in a straight line but faster.

basically you are better off using linear rush attacks as a follow up to sending your opponent flying at the end of a combo. Combo them, then send them flying with the combo finish and immediately use the rush attack. Combo finishers send your opponent flying in a straight line after being launched
27:17 an interesting dettail (not know if mentioned after in the video, as soon as I saw it I wrote about it.) in the anime (like in the freeza saga for example) when the characters are underwater, we can hear their thought, in that moment, Majin Vegeta didn't move his lips to talk, so that may be because he's actually thinking like what happens in the Anime. That for how minimal, is an interesting dettail.

If anyone has noticed this, hercule’s punches actual don’t make SJ3 Goku flinch, like in the older games.
I hope mystic gohan's punches will actually stun z broly cause In BT3 despite him being stronger than ssj3 goku, gohan's punches didn't stun broly at all for some reason which was weird

Also let's talk about the secret character in the pre order version of the game.
The secret character we are getting is most likely a pre order bonus/ pre order special character the same way in xenoverse 1 and 2. In xenoverse 1 the character that you got from pre ordering was SSJ4 vegeta and the only way to get him to this day was to preorder the game. Xenoverse 2 on the other hand released the pre-order bonus as dlc. Obviously we are getting gogeta and broly since it showed us that but the special character is most likely a character that isn't in the base game at all. It may be beast Gohan, I feel like it makes sense to make it beast Gohan and then they release him as dlc later the same way in xenoverse 2 but if they don't release this pre order bonus as dlc (if it is a pre order bonus character) it may not be someone as big as beast Gohan.
You are 100% correct,they cant charge ki on command until all 5 bars are filled,but their ki raises by itself faster than any other character in the game
The bonus is probably going to be Android 21 or something tbh.

Character selection screen reminds of the Battle of Z selection screen, especially how they layed out the different variants next to each other.

This is way better than dbt3 imo, I found the gameplay 5x fluid/better, plus I enjoy the cinematics and references, the shading and lighting, everything is 2x better. And I’ve played tenkaichi3 ALOT. This feels like the anime, and it has a lot of good skill camera angles

4:18 I don’t think God Impact is supposed to have tracking. Some moves in BT3 didn’t track but had fast movement which was best suited after a knock back hit
