Very informative video! But a small clarification: Birko-flor refers to the upper material, not the footbed. Birko-flor is their synthetic leather. You’re comparing the “regular” footbed (stiff) vs the “soft” footbed (cushioned).
Thank you. You can tell if it's a soft footbed by looking on the heal bed. It will say soft footbed in blue. I recently watched another video whereby the lady said after wearing the soft footbed for a long time, the support that Birkenstocks is about doesn't remain as much as the original footbed.
The footbed material on the black pair is microfibre, not leather. I like it too because it hides the footprint. However, i read that being microfibre, it doesnt mode to your foot as well as the leather ones. It also makes yoir feet sweat more. Have you notice both? Does the black color on the footbed bleed onto your sole?
My first pair i ever owned are Birko, i bought them 7 years ago and i just got new souls put in them. They’ve held up so well. My collection has definitely grown since
Love your video May I know the colour or product code for that Brown pair you mentioned? It is the one Arizona Soft Footbed Birko-Flor? Thank you so much 😊
A first-class comparison video for the different Birkenstock variants, really well done! Agree that you should be careful with size and width depending on the chosen footbed. For the soft footbed I take 1 size larger than for the classic footbed. And yes, the soft footbed is comfortable from the first second you wear it, but in my experience the classic footbed is more durable and adapts to your own foot every time you wear it. When you've gone through these break in phase, I think they're actually more comfortable. I really wanted to have the Arizona in the ginger brown tone, unfortunately they are always sold out like so many models. Exactly, everyone needs a few pairs of Birkenstocks :) I'd love to see more shoe comparisons in your videos. Best regards 👣🌸🤗

The peachy brown color is called Pecan. I love it too. Thanks for a great video.

It’s my understanding that the Birko flor are the ones that aren’t made of leather?
Indeed, although its surprisingly durable
Thats right Birko is Birkenstock’s version of synthetic leather

The sizing should be the same. 1 size difference is massive the soft bed is a very thin layer of foam
Is it ok to get wet in the rain in Birkenstock?
I wouldn’t advice that. They do have a rubber option called Eva, I love it. Looks good and it’s rain proof. And they have it In several colors
Fit!!!
