I’ve wear the plastic one for 2 years almost everyday wear and I LOVED them so much. I’ve just bought the corks one and I’m a bit disappointed... I mean, they are still extremely confortable but not as much as the plastic one !
I wear size 8 and they fit perfectly. Just have to make sure the straps are not too tight. Personally I think the Eva ones are perfect to slip on and off as house slippers while the regular one with the cork material is best used as an outdoor sandal
ya you should be fine if you went size down. I wear a US13 or 46 in most shoes but for both birkenstocks I had to go with a US12 or 45 and they still are kinda big. Thanks for watching!
The Evas are definately larger, i am size 8.5 to 9 in runners, and 7.5 Evas would fit me best. I agree the softbed are more comfortable, even though the EVA are lighter and good for slipper or poolside use.

If you're walking a lot, I wouldn't recommend the EVA. Mine, literally... only lasted months and it's already at the end of it's life. I wouldn't pay over $25 for the EVA, but it was really comfortable while it lasted :(

I have a pair of birks and I got them wet and they turned out fine, but they a sub-brand of Birkenstock and they held up pretty well. The only thing that I would worry about it how long it takes to dry, but try to prolong their lifetime by not getting them wet too much.
I have 2 pairs of the eva Birks, 1 is the gizeh which is the widest of them, 1 pair is the boston clog, a little more narrow and I bought a pair of the arizona eva and they are definitely a narrow and had to return.
The leather ones are definitely nicer but I like wear the EVA ones since I don't really have to worry about possibly ruining them since they are only like $40.
Absolute technically two different structures one is plastic foam and one is cork rather price difference no need to explain size down on the phone plastic go about your regular fitting on the leather cork
I would say the soft beds would be the only ones that would smell after long periods just because of the material that the foot bed is made of. Both are made in Germany. Thanks for watching!

They're very comfortable. I have flat feet and I enjoy wearing them a lot. It's just that the life is short because the sole is very thin. The material doesn't last. If you're only wearing them for going to the beach or going to the pool occasionally .. sure get them.. but then if you're looking for something you can wear A LOT.. They wouldn't last a full year.

FYI that heel cup is on shoes with the regular foot bed. The ones you have are the soft foot bed.

The sizing is correct.
My usual shoe size is 7-7.5
So I bought the size 38 and it fits perfectly, you can also adjust the straps

Don’t get them wet! Also if you leave them in extreme heat the glue could melt and the sole could shrink

ya you may be right initially thought the soles on the softbeds were rubber but after looking at it I think it's just a denser eva.

ya the cork is not waterproof. I think you can ruin them if they get too wet. For the pool definitely get the EVA ones instead.
