I do what I can on SS but you’ve give me so many ideas. Wanted to say I live in Ga. Mtns and it wasn’t as bad as 2017 when we went without power for 8 day. I have been trying to get family members to prepare. 2 cousin are very well of they say I’ll just buy what I need the other cousin not as much. Well when Helene came through Ga. My cousin live in the lower half of Ga. My aunt said he had no power no water saved no food. And couldn’t even get out because of all the trees down. And he hadn’t charge up his phone so it was low. I told my aunt to tell him to get buckets to collect rain water. I would rather have good common sense than be as “smart” as he is. My aunt who 95 said you’re the smart one being prepared. And I know you could loose it all like so many did . But what if you didn’t. Then you would have it. This 72 yr old Nana is just saying. Be safe everyone.

I make a healthy version of ramen noodles similar to yours. Raman Bae is a game changer! I love the veggie mix version. You can also use your own dehydrated veggies for the soups. I use Chuka Soba Chinese style dried noodles from our local discount grocery store (brand name is Shirakiku) as they are close in texture to regular ramen but much healthier (Wheat flour, water, salt and tumeric for color). They are just over $1 for an 8oz bag which makes 4 large servings, especially after the add-ins. I'm definitely going to look for the sesame oil packets!! The Korean glass noodles make a yummy dish called Japchae which can be eaten warm or cold and is super yummy!

About chargers... Be sure that you have at least one 1amp charger for home & one for your vehicle. Many, if not most, earbuds must be charged at 1amp, otherwise they'll be damaged. The same holds true for some battery power banks. Read the operating manual or read the text printed on the device itself! It will tell you the necessary input voltage. Most people buy the most powerful fast chargers they can find because they are impatient if a device charges slowly. That's okay if you want to replace your damaged devices regularly. Your choice...

I just looked at it... the picture makes it look like it's only one pack but it's a 6 pack. It's definitely more than regular ramen but it was much more reasonable than the other low carb brands I had been looking at! If I like it, it will be worth it to me.

When you buy in larger quantities like a pound like I often do, they come packaged in a bag. So i repackage them into mason jars with the airtight seal. I also have learned to store them out of my kitchen where there can sometimes be a lot of steam from cooking, canning etc. I did have a small spice jar of lime juice powder turn into a hard lump once when I kept it in the cabinet next to my stove. The new jar I keep in a different area has been fine.

Save your lids from parmesan cheese. The green lids from the brand that starts with a K and ends with raft. They fit mason jars perfectly.
