    What an incredible video. Great job putting this group of experts together. You all not only covered great tips for improving my Anthem but also corrected some misinformation that I had previously heard. Superb!

    Great video, thanks for everyone’s input. (A little late to the party) Will definitely help me “tweak” my setup. Funny, Blake from Anthem on the video, but Theo & Scott carried the show with there analysis…

    Wow super interesting. I have the AVM70 with a MiniDSP. Do you think that having a MiniDSP is beneficial now? I am trying to figure out if it is still “better” to use a MiniDSP for subs (I have 2) - or simply let ARC do it and then tweak the results/targets.
    Thoughts?

      We would not use the MiniDSP since you have the AVM70 but if you moved to three of four subs, you would need it to eq each one. Hope this helps and glad you enjoyed the video

    Great video. It would be nice to have a feature where you were able to turn off ARC on certain speakers but leave it enables on others. I would Like to have my LCR play without ARC but keep the surrounds and atmos enabled.

    Great video.
    Two questions, I have an 1140 running a full GoldenEar system with One.R’s.
    First question, I want to run the setup as an 5.2.6, what should my on/off for my speakers look like? I’ve got it running as a 7.2.4 but I can’t figure out how to go to 5.2.6.
    Second, I believe it’s a gain issue, but the volume is low and the 2-channel performance is weak. I can’t get volumes loud enough unless I push the anthem hard or add post processing. And the 2-channel performance is lean. I also have GE 2+’s running off a M10V2 and it sounds very rich and full, the anthem does not.
    Thoughts? I did not (unfortunately) buy the 1140 from AA but I’d be happy to pay a service fee to speak with someone.

      On the 5.2.6, you have to trick it. You'll need to connect some kind of speakers to the rears, run ARC, then go in and remove them from your setup. Then it should work. We had to do the same thing in one of our demo rooms. The 1140 has a great preamp section. Your One R's do like a lot of power, you should consider a separate power amp for them. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to go over some options. Thanks for watching

    Are Phase setting results saved to the file?
    When is it necessary to redo the Phase testing/setting if making changes to an ARC profile?

    Question for Scott @audioadvice, as you're someone who loves a miniDSP and Anthem, what's the best option for 2 subs with a AVM70 or 4 sub and a AVM90
    Use 1 sub preout and mindsp,
    or
    Use all sub preouts and let ARC do tune the subs?

    • @AudioAdvice
      @AudioAdvice  ปีที่แล้ว

      We used to recommend the Mini DSP for use with 4 subs until the AVM90 and its new sub blending tech came out. The AVM90 is now superior using ARC. Thanks for watching

    What is the best way to integrate a 3rd sub when I own an AVM 70. I wish I'd bought the 90 but here in Australia it's very expensive in relative terms :).
    I do have a MiniDSP 2x4 I had thought to use.
    I think with that I can connect say Anthem Sub out 1 to miniDSP with sub1 + sub 2. Anthem Sub out 2 to sub3.
    Then using quick measure and miniDSP I switch sub1 and sub 2 on/off to ensure each is ok for levels/peaks/nulls etc and then set both on for ARC to calibrate 1+2, and 3.
    I'd love to hear thoughts from people on this though. I've been told to use MSO and REW to do the 3 then have them all go to Anthem on 1 channel.

    The 540 8k as parallel subwoofer should I use the mini dsp to separate it to individual ?

    • @AudioAdvice
      @AudioAdvice  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You could, although if your set up is symetrical in your room, and your room is a rectangle, you might be fine sticking with the Anthem. It does have great sub integration with the latest version of ARC. Thanks for watching

    What speakers are phase aligned when stating "fronts"? LCR.... Heights? LR only?

    Has anybody checked ifTheo‘s room gain has something to do with the vibranium shield in his home cinema? I don’t suppose Anthem has factored the physics of that rare metal into ARC Genesis😉
