I'm totally with you on the retirement thing. I had a week off work last week where I could just run and use the gym whenever I wanted. It was bliss!

Great video I'm reading the book now and wanting to use the plan for Manchester next year so it's great to find someone documenting this exact process, great luck will be following your videos with interest

You’re really good at this. I hope you keep going with this series. It would be great to be able to follow your progress all the way to the Abingdon finish line. Good luck for the rest of the block!

Hi, i used Hanson's in 2019 for the first time for Manchester, and got the PB i wanted. I love Hanson's and I'm using it again now. I like the simplicity and repetion of it - the progression is really logical and satisfying. And of course, no silly 20 mile long runs!

@@grantbrady5537 Thanks for sharing Grant, that’s great to know! Hope all is going well with the training - what race are you doing?

Yes, the training is going well. I'm doing Manchester again. It's a great PB course, so using that to try for a London Good for Age. My main difference in training now as compared with last time is doing my Easy runs in Zone 2. I enjoyed your video. It's nice to relate your experience to my own. Hanson's does get harder (as you know), so good luck and hang in!

      @@grantbrady5537 Great stuff 😊
Yeah we’ve both done Manchester before - difficult to beat when it comes to UK spring marathons, for sure!
And same for us on the Zone 2 front - think most runners struggle to slow down in the early days! Good luck for the London GFA 🤞🏼
