Keep safe from the storms. IMO I would seek to hide all the brick work with the natural stone that you have an abundance of. Keep up the good work.
Of course, I had to divide the video in two because with the rain the drying times increased a lot, so I couldn't add any more weight to the structure before it consolidated 😉🙏💪
Nice job, i like the way you build it up. The floods are everywhere a problem. First it is to dry and de waterlevels go down and then you have to mutch to handel. Looking forward to you next job, thank you!
In the next two weeks I should be able to complete the fireplace, I'll try to use special stones to make a sort of corbel ... we'll see if I can 😅💪

My uncle's family was from Lorenzaga and they are brick masons. Maybe this is why it means so much to see you building your fireplace.

Well last year it was dry as hell for you and now it pours 1 year worth of rain in one day, but I'm positive you will make it work out. This place of yours will become a sanctuary for all who don't have the chance to get out of the city, and virtually visit the beautiful Italian Alps!

@My Wild Life - Italia yes. Colorado has been in drought for some years, but this winter got a ton of snow. Now, with spring melt and rain, there's flooding, and roads are washed out.

Il tipo di pietra locale e’ veramente bella, puoi usarla perché non stanca alla vista…. Lavoro molto bello e certosino, ricordati solo di stare attento alla canna fumaria nel passaggio del tetto dove ci sono i travi in legno, controlla bene la loro distanza…. Tutto questo per esperienza personale … comunque sei bravo e costante, continua così !

Do you know about the company Umiblok that rents a grouting machine. The machine fills the holes between you stones. You can regulate the speed and the work goes fast per Maritjn Doolaard. His You tube #65 {chicken have arrived} you can see machine and how he uses it. The video is long but move to about 15 minutes to see
