If there was something bad that would have happened it would have happened during the demonstration the alternator would have already been smoking or the bottom of the engine was smoking but it was running long enough to tell that there was no real issues with it. I kinda, sort of get the system. The main battery runs the main motor which runs the wheels. But the main motor runs a generator to charge the smaller secondary battery to power the secondary battery so when the car stops, the secondary battery charges the main battery. The problem is that the secondary battery is small amd does not hold as much energy capacity as the main battery. And may not have the discharge force of the main battery either. But it is perfect for backup battery charge for incase there is no charging stations near by.

I'm seeing lot comments on here talking about no oil. That is the bottom of the engine there is an oil pump at the bottom of the engine. If you know anything about mechanics then you will know that's where the oil has to start from. If you ever watch a demonstration the oil usually stays more to the bottom of the engine then the top of the engine. If he has the oil pan on there and has the oil pump on there he will be getting oil across the bottom of it.

Think of it this way... that crankshaft will not run forever without oil. It has been designed to run lubricated, even if the self charging system would work(it wont but lets say it will) the other moving parts will fail due to friction and lack of lubrication

To run your car again you switch to your 2nd set of batteries which adds 2000 = 20 minutes in your ride but also 1st set of batteries are got charged after 20 minutes which is now charged upto 600 = 6 minutes, Now first 6000 = 60 minutes Second 2000 = 20 minutes Third 600 = 6 minutes Total ride time 1 hour 26 minutes, You get 26 minute's efficiency, Input 6000 watts, Output 8600 watts. . . . . . . . . It will never charge the battery that powers the electrical motor. That's for sure. There will always be losses in friction on the mecanical parts, and if at those one add the power needed to run the car, it will never wotk. But congratulations on the video, very well shoot.

You can also couple two generators together at the shaft. Use one for charge the other for run currents

You need generator secondary circuite for high current and primary circuite for start run on battery set up.
