The monk life is calling me... I've felt it since I was 12 (I'm 20 now ). I need to stop denying it and get close to the Almighty. This is the way that will bring me to wisdom and understanding.
How is staying away from people supposed to get you closer to the almighty? Why would God make the best submitters to him be against human nature socializing with family and what not?
@@stanleystove Because god gave us all free will, and both evil and good exist in the world. Therefore, many will choose good but many will also choose evil. Therefore being away from everyone prevents encountering any possible evil.

He went and spoke with the hermits living on the outskirts of Alexandria for direction. Please be careful, this can be very dangerous for a monk without direction. Seeking out a spiritual Father is very important.

The forest ranger could rarely see them but you "perfectly know" them... No wonder Americans are becoming less and less welcome around the world, offending one of the dearest people in our country, the hermits. Thank God not all Americans are like you!
