I'm really liking the new videos you've been posting! Good general explanations of products and mechanics of auto repair. Also liking the multiple camera angles. My only suggestion would be to show more work or detailed procedures rather than fast forwarding / cutting to the next scene.

Thanks Pedro, but we fact-checked with many manufacturers before filming, so we're confident that we're correct in this case. Thanks for watching!

Good info but the is one thing you got wrong. The coils that are of narrower width or closer together are the first to be compressed; the other coils come into play as more load is placed on the spring.

I love the LS1 Gen 4 Camaros and Firebirds. I currently own a 2001 Camaro SS and I am looking to lower the car 1 inch. I also want to put the widest wheel/tire combination possible. I understand that it is possible to go up to 315s depending on the diameter and with a little work on the rear inside fender and some rolling of the outside fender. Any thoughts on this are appreciated.

great video and I have a question. After installing my cheap eBay coilovers with new shocks a year ago I get a lot of squeaky noise from them. Do you know why? Could It be the springs? or top hat?

AndysAutoSportTV Im planning on buying Eibach springs and KYB shocks for a 2010 Honda Fit Sport, is that a good combo? The springs are just over an inch of drop. Do I need a camber kit? What, if any, stut bars may help? Car will never see a day on a track, just a daily driver. Ill also add, the car is sitting on 17" wheels which is bigger than stock. Hope you guys reply! Thanks in advance.

Id recommend a camber kit for, but neither sportline or the prokit will require it, however youll most likely have tire wear without it. I just went 2.25" f and 1.75" r on my mazda3 I bought an spc camber kit. Koni Str.t are decent / affordable struts/shocks as well if you're still looking.

Actually you are wrong when you say the closer coil is stiffer. Is the other way round.
The closer are softer than the more separate springs, just because of the vertical suface. Its hard to explain with text! :)
    Still good video..

do aftermarket springs fit a diffrent name brand aftermarket shocks
in example: tein lowering springs on skunk2 shocks?

It sux that lowering springs are much cheaper than oem-style springs. My car has 300,000 miiles and I'd like to restore its original stock height.
