the thing i liked about seoyeon is how her lack of a lot of stuff didnt scare her if that makes sense?? like she was Definitely yoloing/idgaf but she didnt go on terrified because she was a new idol, she had fun and that makes me respect her idk i definitely think shes gonna improve
That Hwiseo performance was what sold me to H1-KEY. Those 9 long years of training didn't lie.
She was actually preparing to debut solo before joining H1-KEY and it shows

Rocket Punch Yeonhee & Suyun, Weeekly Soeun and Weki Meki Elly were robbed! They definetely deserved a much higher score during the up/down voting.

Elly and Juri's up/down score are such bullshit. I wonder why the others were at their throats like that. Elly especially, cause she literally kicked off the show with one of the best performances.
what they did to elly was EVIL. the fact that she got so many downvotes made me mad. her stage was arguably one of the best from the show so far..
Wooyeon's performance was heartbreaking. If Taeyeon wasn't there, she would have definitely gotten a B.
Yeah I think she was nervous because performing this song in front of mother Taeyeon😭😭
Hwiseo the only reason i still watch the show but I disagree for giving yeoreum high rank,her vocal doesn't heard as much as others
I feel like if only Wooyeon tried to hit those high notes and nailed them, she's probably part of the final group now. But regardless of what happened, she got complimented by Taeyeon which was already a win. It takes some guts and high vocal control to not fail those high notes esp singing in front of the original singer, who, nonetheless, was someone you look up to. For me, she has the most growth in the show out of everyone else. From this person, who wasn't confident that she could nail it, to the person who nailed her high notes in Wannabe and even showcased her lower registers in the final stage with Billionaire. From one of the lowest to being in the Top 9 is already an achievement.
jihan remind me so much of somi in this program... idk, i have that feelings and actually i thought she was going to debut, at least we will have a weeekly comeback soon

I think Suyun should have gotten an A because I personally don’t think Taemin sounds very good on that song either, but she sounded just as good a him, and Juri’s performance was good, but I don’t think it was as good as Suyun’s, so I don’t think they should have the same ranking. Just my personal opinion
Like I love rina (my 2nd bias in h-1key cause of pd48) but likeee I’d give her a d cause pd101 judges are more strict about voice cracks. But besides that I think she would get a b (i literally love her perf, but it was the shame about the voice crack)
ur reasoning and logic makes sense too. i think in pd48, when she was a contestant she got a B and her pop performance was obv way better, but that was when she was a trainee

yeah Suyun is A she's so strong and brave to cover Advice and made her own version and that highnotes it's not shouting though, she is just like that cause she can highnote fr cause she's main vocal in their group. Plus her dancing is so good. Elly too should be A.

I miss the produce series... I know that it ruined lives and dreams of teenage girls but, I think that comes with being in a tv show in general.
since i stand strong vocal, stability and stage presence, if i were the judge, only 3 people would get an A, bora hwiseo and yeonhee, i would rank other perfect performance at B, usual at C, lipsync performance at D, and if it's failed would be F
Nice grading! I agree with everything here except maybe Miru and Kei
I'd give Miru a C, since I actually think she did great, she's stable and her energy was on par too. Major issue was that the stage was very bland and her song choice didn't help that at all.
Kei is certainly not an A, I'm sorry, I'd objectively give her a C. The only thing that carried her performance was her vocals. That does not excuse her lip synching, especially since she's one of the most veteran idols here. Second, like Chaeyeon her expressions were also barely visible / not there.
And if you are not aware kei was singing only her parts and she did it perfectly
Elly was truly the most underrated person on the show. As a weki Meki ult it hurt
I would give Jiwoo solid A because you can clearly hear her live vocal and how she sounded really stable throughout the performance

For Kei I think it’s fine to lip sync even if it was a bigger chunk. Even if she lipsync’d the whole thing you’d be able to tell her technique would pull her to be one of the best on the show. Lipsync doesn’t allow people to grasp if you’re stable while dancing but imo technique can always make a shaky vocalist alright in my eyes as you’re not always dancing in a kpop group. Sometimes groups will just stand or sit to perform a song and if the dancing is hard enough shakiness will be prevalent.

Imo Yeoreum is low a worthy as she’s not proficient enough vocally. It’s not very noticeable since her lower range is her comfy range and that’s what she got to perform but I ult wjsn

honestly, Nana and Yeoreum didn't got me like people are saying, for me it was just a Ok stage. Chaeyeon, Wooyeon and Yeeun can do better than that, but here I'm judging especifcally the Up Down Battle. Suyun and Jiwon was really great, but I foudn their stages kinda empty
I think this is how I would rate a bit too if it wasnt for up/down! Fair rankiing and i like ur reasoning

I’d put Kei at B just because I know her vocals are good but for the performance she didn’t go all out not bad but also not A worthy in my opinion so B instead. Miru I’d give a C maybe even B cuz she sang well while dancing and has great stage presence. Haein I’d give and F cuz she didn’t even seem to try? Chaeyeon I’d give a low B or C just cuz she also didn’t seem like she cared and even her dancing was lackluster which she’s known to be one of the best dancers in the industry so.

I believe suyun deserves b and shouldn’t even be considered for c. You have to belt those high notes out if you haven’t had the right training to make it to the note in your head voice. She’s definitely got pipes though. Just needs to refine her range.

I would put Kei at B for lipsyncing (also to only have 7 people at A) Yuki at C (for the error), Fye at C for the performance, and sadly put Haein at F. And keep the rest as is

It's not related, but i really hated Chaeyeon's attitude of "i'm giving down everyone" like WTF
She was just acting to give the program some fun or something that could left the viewers like “😦”, she knows well mnet and just wanted to cause some drama for the program as a joke, and then Chaeyeon left it like the queen she is.
And we need to add the evil edits that mnet does. She ofc knew that if she down voted everyone she would be evil edited.
Putting Wooyeon as a F and in the same tier of Chaerin's and Seoyeon's performance should be a crime

Imo kei deserves B/C, everyone keeps overhyping her when she lipsynced half the performance plus nothing actually stood out in the performance, no high notes or anything
