    I got this instrument in the 1 for 25 deal they are having. I love the sound. Just loved hearing you play around. The only problem for me is that I am not a organ/keyboard player. Still love to just play around with it and relax with the sound.

    Why put the B3 through a guitar amp? 1970s rock organists often did this (Jon Lord, for one) to get the tight compression and drive that those amps give. Just more tonal options.
    Great video and some great playing! Thanks.

    thanks for the review. JUST so you know, the neve EQ's are concentric. the CENTRE knob which you twisted and said "nothing to write home about" is the "amount", +/- from noon. the silver ring AROUND it with the black hash facing the "off" demarkation is where you choose the frequency; all the way counter clockwise is off, then selectable as you move clockwise. spin that outer ring and listen to the magic happen. same goes for the high and low filter. you can also drive the red gain while pulling back the blue output to get some excellent saturation.
    for those who aren't familiar with the neve layout, i totally understand how that can be overlooked, and some companies out there who model neve gear actually make two knobs to eliminate confusion.
    the neve 1081 is one of the most highly sought channels out there. it's like butter, and IK did a really good job modeling it.

    Thanks for sharing. I’ve been using this app for a few years and I absolutely love it. I just purchased studiologic mp113 bass pedals and I can’t get it to connect. How do you connect your pedal board

      I had to run midi cables to from keyboard - midi pedals to USB interface and set pedals to midi channel 2

    Thank you for demo of this product. I have purchased it as well. Problem…….with my setup I have never been able to get the upper and lower manuals to play independently of each other. Manufacturer could not resolve this issue either. Did you encounter this issue? Thanks.

      I haven't tried dual keyboards yet. I know it took time for me figure out hot to separate foot pedals by sending midi signal thru midi foot pedals first then to keyboard. Possible you can try that way routing midi cable to second keyboard, first keyboard then into midi audio device. I have a m-audio keyboard and will try it now if I'm successful separating manuals I'll post.

    Great flavour my man!
    Gotta pull the trigger on this one, glorious sound. As an organ noob your expertise is greatly appreciated, keep it up!
    A few questions if you don't mind:
    1. Any noticeable lag?
    2. Any fav signal routings in the plugin? Amps/efx?
    Thanks for sharing!

      I’m old school Hammond B3 so all the effects I leave alone. I do change the Leslie cabinets to 147 and amp bass tone for foot pedal sound. I’m using the Apple M1 Mac mini with 8 gig of memory and there’s no lag no matter how hard I push it. I have a volume pedal connected to my controller keyboard so that full organ effect is there as well.

    So can you tell me what audio interface you used, if you used one? Would a focusrite solo suffice?

      @Soundofjoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Focusrite will do just fine.

    there are 3 keyboards here: the top row, the lower and the foot pedals. I using my Yamaha p115 88 key as the controller I'm only able to play the upper row of keys. how can play the middle row or the foot pedals with the controller keys???

    • @Soundofjoy
      @Soundofjoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had to route the midi cables reverse where the keyboard midi out goes to midi pedal in. Set the pedals to midi channel 3. I only got to see it work with two controller keyboards when one was attached as USB. I've been searching for a IK Multimedia approved keyboard to use both manuals and drawbars of this software.

      @@Soundofjoy Hello Sam I hope that you're doing well and I hope that your TH-cam channel will prosper.
      I wanted to let you know that you might want to think about cutting the chord with Apple.
      I people that I know then invested in Apple products such as logic an apple upgraded the operating system and left him in the dust specifically Bergen Community College they had all M audio interfaces then Apple
      upgraded their operating system
      and the college had away
      those $250 a piece interfaces out because Apple didn't no longer support them.
      I'm still using Native Instruments B4 on a PC the old version still on a PC, along with
      B-4.II.
      Just thought I would share.

    Im new to the software how does this connects and how is it been controlled?

    • @Soundofjoy
      @Soundofjoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, you will need to assign the midi keyboard in the setup menu and then your good to go. If you have slider controllers then the will need to be assigned to the drawbars. If you have midi foot pedals for bass then again midi setup should go to the midd address assigned to your foot pedals. It's a great program and I just used it for a gospel production.
