That being said, I'm sure there is a way to make this game work, but the 3D just doesn't do it for me. The animation style works better for side scrollers and it could work better in third person rather than in first perspective. The same way I thought about Bendy. It's like the oldish, flat monochrome style of animation just doesn't translate well in 3D and first person.
