He killed 6 kids. He trapped them in jars for milennia...leaves them to rot and suffer in the darkness...their lives, GONE. Their families DEAD. Even if they escape, then what? Limbless, floating hearts...sox children with so much trauma...even if they go to the surface, its been FAR to long to find their families because milennia? Thousands of years? They have no bodies, they cant go to the afterlife because the undergrounds magic has kept them for too long...those poor kids...FUCK ASGORE.
Omg this is peak, of all the things you could expand on, i never expected this, is great I have the feeling if this scenario was thought of an au in like 2015 or something, they'll make it the edgiest possible, making the amalgams attack asgore or something
Nah, if this was made in 2015, the author would make the friskmalgamate attack sans in the corridor and have sans curbstomp them and either take frisk's soul to asgore or separate the souls with some gravity power bullshit and have frisk hug sans thanking him while he's like "heh, you're welcome kid."
People always ask, "Why doesn't Frisk absorb Toriel's soul?" but never, "Why don't any monsters absorb Frisk's soul?" Do you need freaky deaky amalgamate powers to make sure the soul doesn't break?
Yes? Frisk is simply too determined and can easily load back to their save file. Monsters are just not nearly determined enough (Asgore literally had to kill every human over and over again until they'll give up entirely)
Just wanna say that you've always delivered 5 start fillet migon with every video you've put out. There's never been a single moment where ive questioned your contents quiality, or though it definitely couldve been better- youve always just put out banger, after banger, after banger. Genuinely, some of the best fancontent the undertale fandom has ever seen.
This video is CERTAINLY a lot more different then the others. Personally I like the way you wrote asgore and the new expressions and portraits given for alphys and asgore are great. I really like just how unapologetically creepy and frankly disgusting this... Thing is. Every single pose and frame has something unsettling to it from eyes to smiles that really represents the horror in undertale, with the amalgamates. Super excited for what you have in mind next. If you would like a suggestion or two still one could be "What if Toriel didn't save you" (As in flowey kills you at the start of the game), one could be "What if papyrus succesfuly captured you", triggered by waiting in the doghouse for a certain amount of time, and a third could be "What if monster kid didn't stop Undyne" (This has to do with that one scene in waterfall where Undyne has you cornered, almost captures you only for Monster Kid to intervene as the encounter is about to begin).
Amazing work! This would be a fantastic neutral route if it were real. I can already imagine the hype if Toby added something like this to the game I like the fact that this video gives us more dialogues with Alphys and Asgore
Now I'm wondering the implications of this ending. Would nobody make the phone call once seeing Alphy's lab and what happened? Would a normal reset be impossible due to Frisk's soul (kind of?) being still around but controlled by the amalgams once the game ends? Did no monsters question the shambling blob with a human body in it or can they not see it? A very unsettling what if that makes you think when pondering further. You did a real good job with this one, JQR.
I think the implication with the Neutral Ending credits and Flowey's appearance at the end is that the player is at least still capable of resetting things even if Frisk can't due to being Amalgamated. So it's still An Ending, just one that requires that higher layer of Neutral/True Pacifist/No Mercy layer of player input to undo this particular fustercluck.
I love each and every one of your projects, you put a lot of dedication and love into them, thank you for making these things, they are what every Undertale fan would have wanted to see in this fandom! :3
This was an emotional roller coaster holy shit. The first part was genuinely horrific, even if the placement of Frisk did seem a bit funny after a while. The whole concept of these sad, broken monsters, seeing freedom for the first time in who knows long through you. Alphy’s reaction is also absolutely depressing, knowing the seriousness of the situation, and the events following neutral runs, the fact she didn’t show at the end was worrying enough. And Undyne’s reaction too, it’s like taking the perfect humor of Undertale and torturing with it. Of course she would think that, that’s the only rational decision. I have genuinely never thought something like this could ever be created, and you completely destroyed me in a single 30 minute video. Absolutely beautiful
The idea, animation, sprites and dialouge were awesome! One thing I dont really like however was the ending, it just... stopped. Like, what happened with Alphys? I got that the amalgamates went through the barrier with the human soul, but it just cuts right after. Maybe a sans phonecall (like the neutral route) to summarize what happend after could've been a good idea. Still, I loved the eerie athmosphere of this!
this is some of the most terrifying yet amazing undertale fancontent i have seen, you have a real talent for this stuff. amazing fluid spritework as always that perfectly captures the uncannyness of the amalgamates, with these videos i feel like im watching 2000s creepypastas again, in the best way possible. also just what an original idea, the initial scene where they fuse with frisk and alphys' reaction really gave me goosebumps, as did their burning determination to escape the underground despite their condition. this is amazing and you are so talented at writing, drawing and animating this stuff
YO, awesome concept as always!!! This is so creative!! And I thought I've already thought of everything! :D The idea of the amalgamations literally fusing with the human was something I've never even considered! Especially from a gameplay perspective? Especially with the accurate idea of the amalgamations being able to cross the barrier with Frisk in the mix? You're really on point with the details along with everything else! :D Seeing all of those individual amalgamations fused together as one giant amalgamation mixture really had me feeling anxious and, honestly sympathetic for their well-beings. Especially for Alphys... I can only imagine how she must have felt upon seeing things go even more bad as a result of her own mistakes... I'm gonna assume it was mainly Frisk that was driving the amalgamation to the barrier. The Flowey reaction at the end had me dead, lmao! He just seems done with us, knowing we keep finding ways to screw up his plans. And at the climax point of the story of all places, lol! And I guess Flowey ain't playing around to see it happen again. (After trying to take the lever out again upon reloading your SAVE file, just to see him keep the key in with his vines.) And I guess the Start Menu would not look any different given it would show how the save file previously left off. Last thing, I wonder what Alphys what would have been up to in the end after the amalgamation mix (Frisk) left the lab. Hopefully she didn't "go missing" before the others went to go see her... I guess it doesn't really matter in the end tho, since it gets reset anyways. What a way to start off the new year! Awesome job as always, pal! :D
this unexpectedly fits main idea actualy , good animation for such scenario but maybe idea of amalgamates immediatly absorbing you bit too much forward like maybe we could spare them just like any other monster battle?
Thanks! I tried thinking of a lot of ways to change the way the story plays if you spared them, but no matter how I sliced it, Alphys would come in right after, send them away and things would just go back to how they normally are in true pacifist, its definitely very 'out there' though, I get it
Although if you think about it, Frisk here is being a barely conscious corpse, they works like the same as the others, but visually we see them as normal, since well, it is their corpse
This was so cool and creepy!! Frisk is just combined with all the Amalgamates, and it looked like they're all going on the Surface. Such an interesting concept. Great work! I also loved the last video about Flowey so much too.
What if all the amalgamates merged together in the room, and turned into a boss fight? Since I’ve always thought the room that the amalgamates charge you in looked like a huge “boss fight room”.
5:18 oh yes, *_your_* life is ruined. Not the monsters stuck as a super-amalgamate, not Frisk who’s been absorbed into this Frankensteinian eldritch horror, but *_YOUR_* life. congrats, you somehow seem to be more self-centered than Flowey.
Make it more heavy metal and add purple to the sprites of the Amalgamates... It reminds me of a dream I had when playing Undertale where the True Lab was allot harder. Some unknown entity, not Alphys but some other evil doctor enraging the Amalgamates, making there fights ALLOT harder
Frisk's soul was determened enough to stop a reset of god of hyperdeath, so i wonder Could their soul fix ALL the amalgamets and just make their fusion more stable?
Holy moly cow gee This is NOT something i expected seeing. I’m genuinelly invested. And the characterization’s great! Even get to see ASGORE, which is not usual! 10/10 For a good while i feared that the amalgamate would eat/absorb ASGORE too.. Good thing it didn’t.
Frisk: *You know, since we’re all together, there’s something I should get off my chest. *I did not care for the Godfather. (Frisk and the Amalgamates engage in a huge argument, feel free to continue.)
Also, what would be flowey's reaction at the end if you did an aborted genocide route before? Smthn like "What, you're trying the souls plan again? C'mon Chara, are you really placing your trust in THEM of all monsters? I... know i haven't been loyal back then, even if i told you about all the timelines where i killed everyone, you probably wouldnt trust me with your soul again, i'd get it, but what i dont get is why the amalgamates? You truly are unpredictable, chara."
"game has been tested and is easily no hittable"

He killed 6 kids. He trapped them in jars for milennia...leaves them to rot and suffer in the darkness...their lives, GONE. Their families DEAD. Even if they escape, then what? Limbless, floating hearts...sox children with so much trauma...even if they go to the surface, its been FAR to long to find their families because milennia? Thousands of years? They have no bodies, they cant go to the afterlife because the undergrounds magic has kept them for too long...those poor kids...FUCK ASGORE.
I love how we you’re about to take the switch out after the ending (in the description) Flowey gets fed up and keeps the switch in! :)
This is genuinely filling me with a mix of shocking emotions! Amazing work!
WHY HAVE I THOUGHT ITS ACTUALLY IN ORIGINAL UNDERTALE
Omg this is peak, of all the things you could expand on, i never expected this, is great
I have the feeling if this scenario was thought of an au in like 2015 or something, they'll make it the edgiest possible, making the amalgams attack asgore or something
*teleports behind the amalgamate* heh... nothin personnel, kid *gaster blast*
Any monster that absorb the human soul would immediately become even stronger than The King potential speaking
The "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" quote is insane
This video is CERTAINLY a lot more different then the others. Personally I like the way you wrote asgore and the new expressions and portraits given for alphys and asgore are great. I really like just how unapologetically creepy and frankly disgusting this... Thing is. Every single pose and frame has something unsettling to it from eyes to smiles that really represents the horror in undertale, with the amalgamates. Super excited for what you have in mind next. If you would like a suggestion or two still one could be "What if Toriel didn't save you" (As in flowey kills you at the start of the game), one could be "What if papyrus succesfuly captured you", triggered by waiting in the doghouse for a certain amount of time, and a third could be "What if monster kid didn't stop Undyne" (This has to do with that one scene in waterfall where Undyne has you cornered, almost captures you only for Monster Kid to intervene as the encounter is about to begin).
do i smell peak
I smell a gas leak
that explains a lot
Oh like that thing😊
I think it smells like smells like smells like smells like smells like ad infinitum
Flowey's reaction is fucking priceless, I love it
One of the best part of the video
The horrors! You cooked with this one bro, pretty disturbing scenario that could've happened
:)
Hey! I just wanted to say I loving hate this! It's super good and high quality, and you did a great job, but the horror is surreal.
10/10, No drama.
i love how flowey is just like “ok how tf did you do that”
Amazing work! This would be a fantastic neutral route if it were real. I can already imagine the hype if Toby added something like this to the game
I like the fact that this video gives us more dialogues with Alphys and Asgore
Amazing video! Something that would’ve never crossed my mind in regards to a ‘what if’ Undertale Scenario. Lovley work!
Definitely really unique and well executed. Appreciate that.
NGL, Flowey's initial reaction at the end had the same energy as his reaction in Undertale Yellow if you die by drinking acid.
1:55 *insert obligatory "easiest Undertale fangame" joke here*
"Was the human always this tall and imposing?" Papyrus god dammit 🥲
7:08 Frisk: "So... like, how's the weather?"
that amalgamate looks pretty chill, i'd use them as a beanbag
That's what I expected of an amalgamate ending
Great work
Now do it no-hit
this is some of the most terrifying yet amazing undertale fancontent i have seen, you have a real talent for this stuff. amazing fluid spritework as always that perfectly captures the uncannyness of the amalgamates, with these videos i feel like im watching 2000s creepypastas again, in the best way possible. also just what an original idea, the initial scene where they fuse with frisk and alphys' reaction really gave me goosebumps, as did their burning determination to escape the underground despite their condition. this is amazing and you are so talented at writing, drawing and animating this stuff
YO, awesome concept as always!!! This is so creative!! And I thought I've already thought of everything! :D
The idea of the amalgamations literally fusing with the human was something I've never even considered! Especially from a gameplay perspective? Especially with the accurate idea of the amalgamations being able to cross the barrier with Frisk in the mix? You're really on point with the details along with everything else! :D
Seeing all of those individual amalgamations fused together as one giant amalgamation mixture really had me feeling anxious and, honestly sympathetic for their well-beings.
(After trying to take the lever out again upon reloading your SAVE file, just to see him keep the key in with his vines.)
And I guess the Start Menu would not look any different given it would show how the save file previously left off.
really like this concept, i love how chaotic the amalgamates battle is. a concept that im interested in is "what if omega flowey won?"
the sprite work is amazing
Your what if videos is so well made that it is actually interesting to watch!
Honestly? I like your interpretations of the characters, they feel really in character.
Now you brought this idea I kind want to see a What if Kanako escape the lab
by either fusing with Frisk or just herself.
this unexpectedly fits main idea actualy , good animation for such scenario but maybe idea of amalgamates immediatly absorbing you bit too much forward like maybe we could spare them just like any other monster battle?
Thanks! I tried thinking of a lot of ways to change the way the story plays if you spared them, but no matter how I sliced it, Alphys would come in right after, send them away and things would just go back to how they normally are in true pacifist, its definitely very 'out there' though, I get it
@@JQR.You attack normal monster i'm amalga form?
@@JQR.I'd like to know how would alphys react to frisk being able to tame every amalgamate at once on their own through
THEY JUMPING ME
4:24 I kinda find it hilarious how Frisk is still just blankly staring here
Although if you think about it, Frisk here is being a barely conscious corpse, they works like the same as the others, but visually we see them as normal, since well, it is their corpse
Babe wake up, Alphys is being traumatized again!
i swear you do the best What-Ifs bro. stay determined ❤
This was so cool and creepy!! Frisk is just combined with all the Amalgamates, and it looked like they're all going on the Surface. Such an interesting concept. Great work! I also loved the last video about Flowey so much too.
What’s even the aftermath of surface going back to Frisk home looking like that sounds like a horror movie concept local legend is born
Anu idea with the amalgamates is a good idea in my books
You are without a doubt the most creative person when it comes to "what if" scenario's in this community
Another good one, bravo👏👏👏👏
This so cool. Your work always amazes me. Really impressive stuff. You should be proud of yourself.
They are going to be so sad when they find out…
Early into the video, JQR cooking awesome quality undertale what if scenarios as always
Absolutely agreed
UNDERTALE: Endings Continued.
(All of the neutral endings having short little sections to go along with the dialogue.)
Wow
this is literally just the ending of INSIDE
Wake up honey, they updated the joy mutants from Lisa the Painful
What if all the amalgamates merged together in the room, and turned into a boss fight?
Since I’ve always thought the room that the amalgamates charge you in looked like a huge “boss fight room”.
Bro you COOKED!
So would I be right in thinking that the Amalgamate's drive to go through the barrier is Frisk's will?
IS THIS A VIDEO FROM MY FAVORITE UNDERTALE ANIMATOR?
I LOVE THIS AMALGAM SPRITE!!!
and its neutral ending! so good!
actually sad ending cuz im not sure if frisk can reset or how humans would react
This should be a fan game
and thats how my oc amalgamate frisk is born
10:01 Ah sweet, monster made horrors beyond comprehension
Make it more heavy metal and add purple to the sprites of the Amalgamates... It reminds me of a dream I had when playing Undertale where the True Lab was allot harder. Some unknown entity, not Alphys but some other evil doctor enraging the Amalgamates, making there fights ALLOT harder
Frisk's soul was determened enough to stop a reset of god of hyperdeath, so i wonder
Could their soul fix ALL the amalgamets and just make their fusion more stable?
a more humanoid version of amalgamate frisk would be awesome actually
17:17 ka boom!!!☠️☠️☠️
17:27 do not tori me
Asgore minds:😭
That's the same kind of shit like "Prunsel"
12:40 SO CUTE :DD
1:53 I guess you could say this is an AMALGALM of their previous fight :D
Holy moly cow gee
This is NOT something i expected seeing. I’m genuinelly invested.
And the characterization’s great! Even get to see ASGORE, which is not usual! 10/10
For a good while i feared that the amalgamate would eat/absorb ASGORE too..
Good thing it didn’t.
7:05 I actually laughed at this
Insert *doors elevator music*
Frisk:
*You know, since we’re all together, there’s something I should get off my chest.
*I did not care for the Godfather.
(Frisk and the Amalgamates engage in a huge argument, feel free to continue.)
theyre beating us to death this is amazing concept
the battle against the amalgams perhaps it was possible to save time for alphys to appear, the human had many items saved.
This is peak!
That would also be a good bonus video to add to this one 👍
😮What if In UnderTale
I am Undertable
Amazing!!! Please keep it up
i wanna know their reaction after meeting alphys...
