I have the black reset cradle. The issue am having is the cylinder will not go down flush. The pin at the bottom is sticking out inside the cradle preventing the cylinder from going all the way down
    Any suggestions??

Try to lubricate the reset cradle and work the lubricant in by turning the full range of motion in both directions several times. Then finish with the arrow pointing at the starting position which is the one with the cylinder picture. This should clear the pin and allow it to accept a cylinder flush. The pin gets stuck in the out position especially if you don’t start with the arrow facing the cylinder in the start position and just pop a cylinder in.

Also if you haven’t bought a better resetter it’s a good backup to have. A lot of people prefer them to the cradle. I’m team cradle but know if it comes down to it the better resetter is the true life time tool.

You’ll have to buy another one. I think the real thing is they’re cheaply made. I got a good one right off the shelf, but I bought mine from Anixter at the time way back when and it’s black and it came with a super cool divot pusher but I haven’t had any problems with it. It works flawlessly Also if a guy puts a key in the cylinder and leaves it in the cylinder and then puts it in the cradle and tries vigorously to turn it that will destroy it so buy another one from Amazon and keep testing until you get a good one because you can send them back. That’s my only suggestion. Sorry about you having problems with that. They’re not one for one if you know what I mean, it’s kinda like a cheap electronic lock, trilogy or something. You don’t get a good one the first time they’re hard to send back so you have to buy a new one not with Amazon happy hunting my dear little friend.th-cam.com/video/O2rhTpTRfGw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fdvAYL_E3LLEwQyk

Great advice having a community of intelligent people is what this whole TH-cam experience is about thank you thank you thank you for your post. It sounds to be right on the money if I may add use the lubricant for electronics that way, it doesn’t affect any kind ofplastic, but that’s all I can add. I’ve never tried it. Great advice keep doing more of what you just did. I appreciate it. Sincerely, MRW.

Some more great advice that is a lifetime tool. The only problem I find out I have with it is remembering where it’s at. It’s so paper thin, but it is full proof. It just has a little hard time starting on those SC1 smart cylinders, but once you watch their videos or video, I should say from the website everyone seems to get the hang of it even me
